17/05/2026: This was just amazing. We were a separate group of 18 people who were all very happy. We were picked up in Frascati by Michelle who is incredibly knowledgeable and nice and who was with us the whole time and translated into English when needed. We made pasta which we ate for lunch and with wine tasting and a tour of the farm this was a perfect combination. Highly recommended!

05/07/2026: Everything was great, from the food to the location and service. We just celebrated my son's birthday. Excellent quality and price. We'll be back.

04/07/2026: The location has changed (the new one is very nice), but everything else remains the same and everything is excellent, from appetizers to dessert. We'll definitely be back.

20/05/2026: Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls is absolutely worth visiting. First, there are barely any people here. Really almost no crowds. Second, it does not have all the barriers, chairs, and crowd control setup you see in many other famous churches in Rome, so you can actually enjoy the space quietly. What also makes this basilica special is that, unlike many famous churches in Rome, its origins go back to the 5th century. Even though it was destroyed in 1823, it was rebuilt almost exactly the same way. You can really feel the process of how the Romans transformed their architectural style into a Christian church. It is a bit far from the main tourist area, maybe around ten something minutes by taxi, but definitely very worth it.

02/07/2026: Stopped in for a lunch on a random Wednesday. What an amazing surprise. The chef is welcoming, and the space is super intimate and nice. The food was delicious. I highly recommend this place. If you're near you should stop in.

02/03/2026: I love family-run taverns. They're small, welcoming, and have a homey feel, a sense of genuine conviviality and hospitality. Never far from the average tourist looking for sign-posted discounts: "Maxi tourist menu for only €20, drinks included," I'm inspired by the photographs of the dishes. Roman tradition, quality, and seasonality, but as the chef carefully states on his menu: "A typical dish knows no season," so yes to traditional dishes, but also others, respecting what the land offers at that particular time of year. The atmosphere is truly good, with quality, politeness, and customer service—for which I applaud the lady in the dining room, always attentive and friendly! We receive artisanal bread made by the chef, with fantastic leavening and an intense aroma from the herbs it contains, followed by a delicate and delicious chickpea soup with porcini mushrooms. Sublime Carbonara and Gricia, with a pecorino cheese that caresses your palate with a blend of sweetness and savory flavors that doesn't scratch your palate with its invasiveness, but delicately envelops it, widening your taste buds. Even the pepper, which is usually very aggressive, is gentle here, as if leading you hand in hand into this sublime gastronomic moment. The second course was a pork loin, lovingly accompanied by plums, which enriched it. To finish on a sweet note: a fragrant crème brûlée in which the sweet notes of orange stand out, the scent of caramelized sugar sinking in with vanilla. Along with the coffee, carefully selected thanks to a beautiful and full-bodied Jamaican blend, were cat's tongue biscuits. To accompany everything, a "fojetta" of white wine from their cellar, which accompanied our lunch with drinkable, lively, and lively sips. Definitely see you soon. Lorena and Maurizio

09/06/2026: An absolutely dreamy wedding venue! The view is simply breathtaking – surrounded by vineyards and with a truly unique atmosphere. Thanks to its hilltop location, even on warm days there's a pleasant climate with a gentle breeze, making the stay particularly enjoyable. The service was also outstanding. With so many waiters, all our guests received attentive and professional service at all times. The food was also superb and completely exceeded our expectations. From the location to the service to the culinary offerings, everything was simply perfect. We couldn't have wished for a more beautiful place for a wedding and wholeheartedly recommend this venue.

08/06/2026: Giardino l'Olivella is in a truly stunning location: the view upon arrival is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and passionate about the menu, ready to explain each dish. The appetizers were truly exquisite, while the main courses, in my opinion, despite being meticulously presented (a much appreciated aspect), didn't quite live up to expectations (the pasta was very, very al dente), making the quality-price ratio unbalanced. However, I know it's difficult to manage a large table, so I'll definitely be back to try the dishes again and enjoy the view. The one thing I would recommend, however, is the atmosphere. Surrounded by such beautiful nature, you'd expect the warmth and lightheartedness typical of country farmhouses. Instead, I felt the atmosphere was a bit too formal, almost like a city restaurant. Perhaps it would take very little to make the experience more relaxing, perhaps offering a small, informal welcome drink while waiting for a table, to make guests feel pampered from the very first moment. It's a place with immense potential, just lacking a touch of warmth to be perfect. I must, however, compliment the interior design; it's truly beautiful.

11/05/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Gente di Note in Frascati. The rooms were spotless, very clean, tidy, and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The restaurant is excellent — the food is absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with very high-quality ingredients. The prices are also very reasonable and affordable. What truly made the experience special was the owner and host. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating, always ready to assist while still being very discreet and never intrusive. Highly recommended, and we would gladly come back again!

06/02/2026: A great place! The burgers are really amazing, you can rarely find burgers this good (and a bonus, they have vegan options, so everyone can come)! The staff is really friendly, the service is also very fast. Literally no complains!

09/06/2026: Typical Castelli Romani cuisine, with excellent cured meats and cheeses. The buffalo mozzarella bites are truly exquisite! The pasta and beef fillet were excellent, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The careful selection of ingredients enhances every dish. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the location is truly charming, a small piazza where it's truly delightful to eat in the spring and summer.
