19/07/2026: We went for lunch today, there were 15 of us. What can I say? The owner and his son were so welcoming; they made us feel at ease. The food isn't just good, but the attention to quality ingredients makes this place unique. The quality of the fish is excellent, something you might not expect in Rome. The fish appetizer was spectacular, as was the cured meats. The tagliolini with cherry tomatoes and gurnard were excellent. Congratulations, keep up the good work 👍🏻

14/07/2026: We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. And the food was cooked to perfection and flavours were fantastic, highly recommend this restaurant. We are on holidays from Australia.

23/05/2026: Visited here once. Ordered peach juice thought it would be fresh juice but was a bottled one. Egg linguine Seafood pasta and fresh tonnarello with pistachio and basil pesto, tuna and stracciatella. Pastas were good.

23/05/2026: A truly delightful restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent... and so was the wine. I'd especially like to thank Tristan, our waiter for the evening... he was very efficient and professional. I recommend this restaurant to anyone in Rome!

06/07/2026: Our group of 10 had a dinner reservation for late June. Though the restaurant is small, they had a perfect table for all of us. We were greeted and almost immediately served a variety of antipasto including melt-in-your mouth prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, assorted fried appetizers, Roman artichokes, and more. We tried various local dishes including saltimbocca, cacio e pepe, and carbonara. One person noted the carbonara was the best they had in their life! All meals were delicious. For dessert, the pistachio gelato, tiramisu, and ricotta and cherry tarts were amazing. The staff was wonderful and the limoncello to close out our meal was the perfect ending. This restaurant is slightly off the main tourist area near the Vatican but well worth the walk. We'd definitely eat there again!

22/06/2026: The female staff member was so kind. She cut the pizza to the size I wanted and heated it up for me. The soufflé was also delicious. I highly recommend it!

19/06/2026: Perfect “pizza al taglio” Roman style: dough is crunchy, cooked to perfection, ingredients top notch. A must go 5 minutes from the train station

25/07/2026: La Cucchiarella is a great reastaurant. The food is very nice, good portion sizes, and the service is amazing. Not very touristic, but very welcoming to tourists. If you’re in the Rome give them a try!

05/05/2026: I had pasta, squid, and wine based on the reviews, and it was delicious. It was a restaurant with a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The coin purse I bought from the leather shop right in front is very popular as a gift. It doesn't show up on Google Maps, so I'm leaving a review here.

31/03/2026: The worst gastronomic experience on my trip to Rome. Loud music (?), impossible to talk, it must be to distract us from our deceived palates. What is the purpose of music in a restaurant? Nobody goes to listen to music in a restaurant, they go to enjoy a cultural experience, with years of wisdom in doing things well and serving well. A bland, tasteless saltimbocca, floating in an uncharacteristic water, with a dessert spoon of mashed potatoes and two pieces of green beans. A glass of red wine, bottled ahead of time. 'This' was classified as a Travellers' Choice on some platform. This only means the number of pseudo-experts in gastronomy who had the misfortune of entering this establishment that considers itself a restaurant. Finally, frequented by families who consider a restaurant to be a playground. Completely insane. Here is my warning. After reading the manager's response, I think he got the group he's referring to wrong. I don't know what he's talking about!

21/03/2026: Tocco Ferro is a wonderful restaurant we went to while visiting family in the Trionfale neighborhood of Rome. There were six of us at dinner and all of the food was exceptional. The seafood was amazing. The owners were very gracious and welcoming and made us feel quite at home. While the restaurant is a little off the beaten path with a bit of construction currently, it is definitely worth the effort to find this gem!
