Just had a amazing meal. Carlo recommended the best food and drinks.

Our group of 10 had a dinner reservation for late June. Though the restaurant is small, they had a perfect table for all of us. We were greeted and almost immediately served a variety of antipasto including melt-in-your mouth prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, assorted fried appetizers, Roman artichokes, and more. We tried various local dishes including saltimbocca, cacio e pepe, and carbonara. One person noted the carbonara was the best they had in their life! All meals were delicious. For dessert, the pistachio gelato, tiramisu, and ricotta and cherry tarts were amazing. The staff was wonderful and the limoncello to close out our meal was the perfect ending. This restaurant is slightly off the main tourist area near the Vatican but well worth the walk. We'd definitely eat there again!

Every time I come to Rome, I stop here to eat well...in fact, very well! The best Roman restaurant ever. The first courses are phenomenal and the prices are fair.

Visited for lunch while visiting the Vatican, well worth the short walk away from the tourist restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful with the menu. The artichoke Roman style was fantastic a must try. Pasta was excellent had the carbonara. Meat balls were also great. Nice restaurant inside

TOP. I was at this osteria two years ago for the first time, and needless to say, I returned for my little four-day Roman vacation. Unfortunately, I returned to find the same staff as before (which made me very happy), the same quality and professionalism, the same courtesy and politeness. One of the best carbonaras I've ever eaten. A traditional restaurant with five-star service. All the staff are truly friendly and helpful. If you're in Rome, a stop here is a must.
