Totally a hidden gem! The mushroom & sausage pizza is airy and light, highly recommend! The owner (or his son?) is so friendly and great to talk to, he even offered me and another guest to try a local food (the fried thingy with rice and mozzarella cheese!) - the hospitality totally made my day, don’t miss this place when you are in the area!

A place to eat good and delicious food. Reasonable prices. Everything is genuinely fresh. I recommend it. We came between 1:30 and 2:30. There isn't much space. Just a counter with 5 seats, but it's not a problem; you eat and leave or get takeout. It's not a restaurant if you're thinking of just walking in and picking up a menu. It's very local and original. I would definitely go back.

01/05/2026: We were completely satisfied with Il Calascione restaurant, a charming location in the historic center of Arsoli. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with fast service and friendly staff, but above all, the dishes are exquisite! Local ingredients, excellent appetizers, and delicious first courses. We'll definitely be returning! Thanks to the owner for recommending beautiful places to visit in the area, especially the village of Cervara di Roma, which is spectacular!
11/04/2026: Everything was perfect. We walked in and the owner had already set the table after I'd called ahead to check if there were any seats. We arrived and everything was ready. The first courses we ordered arrived very quickly and were delicious. The arrosticini were equally exceptional! The owner who served us was extremely kind and even explained how they make their own handmade pasta. And indeed, when you eat it, you can truly savor the artisanal flavor of real pasta!
