We ate lots of gelato in Rome, but this was the best of all… creamy, not too sweet, with a good consistency and truly high-quality ingredients – gelato as it should be!!!

During our week trip to Rome, we had an ice cream every day here. The "noccialla" (Hazelnut praliné) was our favourite. The price is similar to the other competitors in the city. We were however satisfied with the portion size.

The best ice cream I have ever had... hands down. All the flavors I tasted were very rich in flavor and had different textures. We walked 2 km out of our way to get another ice cream here. I never write reviews, but I thought it was worth it for this amazing ice cream parlor. When in Rome: Il Gelatone!

🤩 Delicious Italian ice cream! They have classic flavor and some interesting options. 🍦I ate a cone with pistachio and tiramisu. Pistachio was my favorite. Portion size is huge. The place is mainly for takeaway. There are no seats inside. ♿️ Not accessible for people using wheelchairs

20/07/2026: 10/10. I got the Olga to go and their blonde house ale. The food was on point!! Plus the guy at the counter was very helpful in helping me understand their menu. They have a selection of wines as well. Easy, affordable, and very delicious. Will be back again for a quick bite. The interior is small with about 3-4 tables.

Tocco Ferro

21/03/2026: Tocco Ferro is a wonderful restaurant we went to while visiting family in the Trionfale neighborhood of Rome. There were six of us at dinner and all of the food was exceptional. The seafood was amazing. The owners were very gracious and welcoming and made us feel quite at home. While the restaurant is a little off the beaten path with a bit of construction currently, it is definitely worth the effort to find this gem!
21/03/2026: Most wonderful restaurant dining experience. Chef Andra stopped by to tell us her specials for the evening, and we ordered most of those- and it was incredible! 3 minute walk from the Vatican museum. Sadly hidden due to some construction on the street. Absolutely best meal we had in a week in Italy. Best antipasti: zucchini flowers stuffed with shrimp. Best pasta special - with house made fettuccine. Best secondi - the special for the night. A tuna tataki. Best tiramisu, made to order. Always special to get to talk with the chef at a restaurant of this caliber, and just so nice to get to tell her how wonderful the meal was.
