La Cucchiarella is a great reastaurant. The food is very nice, good portion sizes, and the service is amazing. Not very touristic, but very welcoming to tourists. If you’re in the Rome give them a try!

Amazing food and great service. An absolute pleasure to have dined in this restaurant. Will definitely return and recommend anyone wanting eat here. Real authentic Italian food! Compliments to the chef and owner.

Wonderful place with great staff! The food was delicious and so fresh. We felt very welcome and felt the love im the food. Simone was very patient and very kind to us. Even with my very little Italian, we were able to communicate well . 10/10 come eat here, very clean establishment, great staff and delicious food.

Excellent place in Trastevere! Great for eating and enjoying yourself. Domenico and the staff are very friendly and attentive!!! Highly recommended 🙌🏻🇦🇷

We had lunch at this restaurant before leaving. Very comfortable and cozy. There is air conditioning. And most importantly, very tasty! We recommend it🙂

We were in Rome for 5 nights and were planning to go to this restaurant for dinner. It was a short walk from our rental apartmant. We finally dropped by on our last night and it was worth it. 2 adults, 2 teens and a pre-teen. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Lamb shank, monk fish in tomato creme sauce, the gnochini, and the lasagna dish were enjoyed by all. A welcoming staff. Domenico was friendly and attentive to our requests. You will enjoy your dinner at this location. It was a memorable end to our Roman vacation.

Tocco Ferro

21/03/2026: Tocco Ferro is a wonderful restaurant we went to while visiting family in the Trionfale neighborhood of Rome. There were six of us at dinner and all of the food was exceptional. The seafood was amazing. The owners were very gracious and welcoming and made us feel quite at home. While the restaurant is a little off the beaten path with a bit of construction currently, it is definitely worth the effort to find this gem!
21/03/2026: Most wonderful restaurant dining experience. Chef Andra stopped by to tell us her specials for the evening, and we ordered most of those- and it was incredible! 3 minute walk from the Vatican museum. Sadly hidden due to some construction on the street. Absolutely best meal we had in a week in Italy. Best antipasti: zucchini flowers stuffed with shrimp. Best pasta special - with house made fettuccine. Best secondi - the special for the night. A tuna tataki. Best tiramisu, made to order. Always special to get to talk with the chef at a restaurant of this caliber, and just so nice to get to tell her how wonderful the meal was.
