14/10/2025: I had been there many years ago. The atmosphere was nice, although I had asked for a table for an important dinner, but they put me in the middle of the corridor. The waiter bumped into my guest's chair as he passed. Then I asked to change tables. The waiters were very kind. The food was good, but in my case, the portions were really small. The menu selection was too limited, and the final price was excessive for what we got. I don't think I'll be back.

25/09/2025: Absolutely amazing. Easily one of the most flavourful meals of our week in Italy. The tortelloni looked so simple but the flavour was incredible. Lasagna Verde was rich with flavour. I ate so slowly not wanting the meal to end. The strawberry marscapone was a delightful finish. Host staff was very sweet.

04/08/2025: Excellent cuisine. Lucanian specialties are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Great care is taken in selecting the ingredients and pairing the flavors. The dishes on the menu change seasonally, which is another plus for the chef. Impeccable service. When you leave the restaurant, you're already thinking about what you might order next time... that doesn't happen often. Congratulations.

11/08/2025: Small and efficient, Quick lunch break, about 10 empanadas and a selection of wines (which I didn't order), 4 empanadas recommended, all very good. The place is very small, with the option of using the tables outside or sitting in a nearby park. The guy was nice, kind, professional, and on point.

20/09/2025: In the center of Baricella, Trattoria Venturoli is a must. Its menu features Bolognese cuisine, with frogs as a specialty. The risotto is out of this world, with a fantastic selection of fried and stewed frogs. The service is friendly and homey, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of the past.

25/08/2025: A restaurant stuck in the 1960s or perhaps 1950s. The menu features very few dishes, with frog specialties taking center stage. Everything we ordered was delicious. Rice with frogs. Home-made tortelloni with butter and sage. Fried frogs and cacciatore style. Special mention also for the potatoes and sautéed chicory. Spectacular fior di latte. Quick and friendly service. The price wasn't the cheapest, but given the quality of what we ate, it was more than fair.

17/07/2025: Ottimo posto in centro a Bologna, dove si può trovare una cucina salutare e vegana, con piatti semplici come insalata di farro e più ricercati come l'acai bowl. C'è anche una vasta scelta di smoothies, consigliato il sunset.

14/10/2025: Great neapolitan style pizza with a diverse options, from traditional Neapolitan pizza to pizza with pancetta, radicchio, wurstel, etc... It can get quite busy on peak hours.

14/10/2025: This pizzeria in the Pedagna neighborhood of Imola specializes in takeout pizza. The place is tiny, with just a few tables and service so basic and spartan it's almost inadequate, given the often chaotic atmosphere. However, the focus is on quality: the pizzas are, in my opinion, unquestionably the best in the area, with abundant, high-quality ingredients. The price is extremely low and reasonable considering the excellence of the product. The only drawback is that, on weekends, the place is so crowded that even a simple takeout order requires time and patience. To maximize efficiency, I would suggest the restaurant eliminate table service entirely and focus solely on takeout and home delivery, perhaps through delivery platforms, to better manage the flow and increase customer base. Despite the wait during peak hours, the quality of the pizza is well worth the effort.

13/10/2025: A very select regional and traditional selection. Friendly chef who guides you through the menu and explains the dishes. Excellent wine selection. The Michelin star is definitely deserved. Thank you for the lovely evening.

11/10/2025: We entered and were greeted by the staff and seated, but the walls were full of skunks (insects). We asked for a change of seats and pointed out the problem, and they moved us to a worse place than ever, even more full of these insects, so much so that one of the diners felt ill. Then the owner arrived and began describing the dishes and chit-chat (WHEN A CUSTOMER SITS DOWN THEY WANT TO EAT AND NOT LISTEN TO USELESS CHATTER). 3 APPETIZERS, 3 FIRST COURSES, 3 MAIN COURSES, 2 SOLCI, A COFFEE, 4 BOTTLES OF WATER AND ONE OF LAMBRUSCO, 235 EUROS (IF IT HAD BEEN EATEN), TASTINGS. TIP: LESS TALK, AN INFESTATION TREATMENT.

18/09/2025: The restaurant is located in a quiet area, and the interior is very spacious. Four of us came for lunch on a Saturday and, at the manager's suggestion (?), wanted to try the house specials. It was a perfect choice: I wasn't thrilled with the lamb ragù, but the rest of the food was exceptionally good, even though I'm not a fan of spices. The meat was delicious, and the various legume-based sauces paired perfectly with the stew. I didn't particularly appreciate the traditional bread (too spongy), the papaya/coconut/mango desserts, or the special coffee they have, the name of which I can't remember (spiced with ginger and cumin). The wild fennel bread, however, is worth it. Worth a try, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering it's in Bologna: €90, including drinks, for four of us. We ate a lot.

16/09/2025: A dinner that was a true journey to Africa! The flavors are authentic and rich, the dishes are carefully prepared and truly delicious. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of atmosphere, making you feel like you've been transported directly to the African continent. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for those who want to discover new culinary traditions without leaving Bologna.

30/07/2025: This is an atmospheric and satisfyingly traditional enoteca that we stumbled across on the way to dinner. The bartender was kind, personable and helpful with our wine choice. He even cut fresh mortadella and served it with warm bread as an accompaniment with our drinks. This is the perfect place to stop to soak up a slice of the city and drink good wine.
