07/05/2026: It’s a hidden gem of a place. Amazing restaurant with fresh food prepared right in front of you. Great selection of meats, pastas, salads and deserts. Delicious coffee too. Super friendly staff. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners lovely people. I could eat there everyday.

07/08/2026: The food was amazing especially their desert that looked like giants Ferrero Rocher. And on top of that we got two digestivos. The stuff also very kind and attentive. The only concern was flies that were trying to get into our parmezan cheese.

20/04/2026: We tried the nine-course tasting menu, which allows for lots of small bites. Some dishes surprised us, others less so, but overall we were satisfied. Service was quick but not frenetic. The tables were well spaced apart.

06/04/2026: I was there recently for lunch, and I have to say I can't wait to go back. The first courses were excellent, made with top-notch ingredients, which was reflected in the kind of flavor that, unfortunately, is increasingly rare to find. The preparation was also practically perfect. The highlight of the meal, however, were the crescentine with cured meats. Especially the cured meats and cheeses. There's a shop next door that sells gourmet products, including top-quality cured meats and cheeses, sourced from top-quality local producers (it's a passion of the owner). And you can taste the difference compared to the typical crescentine place that serves cured meats that all taste the same (or almost). This quality of the ingredients, among other things, makes the quality/price ratio truly excellent. The wine selection also seems interesting, although not extensive. The place is an osteria, so not an elegant or sophisticated restaurant, but the atmosphere is in keeping with the type of place: clean and well-presented, with well-placed tables and, despite the small space, not too crowded (a tad too crowded for my taste, but still acceptable, considering there were only two of us, so another table for two next door was almost inevitable). Even though it was crowded and there was a large table, it wasn't too noisy, especially since the food is so good that by the time it arrives, you're busy eating. As I said, I can't wait to go back, and this time I'll just order the crescentine and cured meats. Not because the first courses aren't worth it, but because I want to enjoy the cured meats better.

27/02/2026: Carefully selected ingredients, expertly crafted cured meats, and a genuine, bygone atmosphere. Definitely try the gnocchi with mutton ragù, a rare dish. Follow the host's instructions. A round of applause!

20/07/2026: A local institution, well worth the short trip from Bologna. The friendliest of staff welcomes you to a tavern where pretty much everything has been kept and preserved from the passing of time, including the recipes of the kitchen. Making the most of what local producers can offer, from vegetables to meat, all the way to the grapes for the wine. My wife and I enjoyed a quick meal on the way to the seaside. The waitress helped us create a small tasting menu by halving portions of some starters. Even then, we left the restaurant rolling! All we had was delicious, with a special mention for the tagliatelle with ragù, pure heaven. Given what we ate, both in quantity and quality, a full meal for 50€ is really fair and adequate. Looking forward to another visit!

18/07/2026: A very pleasant lunch. The friggione with tigelle was excellent, and the nettle tagliatelle with ragù were very good. The selection of French wines and craft beers was also appreciated, which is not always the case for a traditional osteria. The customer service was also excellent: after sending an email to reserve, I received a quick call back to confirm my table. The kitchen atmosphere was also lovely, with a multi-ethnic team working with professionalism and camaraderie. The only drawback: the space is really small. The tables are so close together that it's easy to share the company of other diners... and you'll go home with the lingering smell of ragù on your clothes. Luckily, the ragù was good! Overall, an authentic osteria, with excellent food and a lot of personality.

26/06/2026: An absolutely incredible experience! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The dishes were delicious, refined, and prepared with top-quality ingredients. Each plate was a true delight. But what truly made this evening unforgettable was the quality of the service. The entire team was remarkably kind, professional, and attentive. We felt warmly welcomed, and every detail was carefully considered to ensure we had an exceptional time. A huge thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience. We will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

21/06/2026: Enchanting spaces that respect Bologna's history. Refined dishes that showcase Bologna's gastronomic culture, revisited by Chef Schettino with Neapolitan influences. Tasty and interesting dishes. Flavors that surprise the palate in a crescendo of experiences. The 8-course surprise menu is noteworthy. We were also captivated by sommelier Giordano's wine selection and Andrea and Simone's graceful descriptions of the dishes. "I Carracci" restaurant is a gift for guests who want to enrich their palate with traditional Italian flavors presented in an innovative and modern way.

Even the wait times were impeccable: we never had to wait, but the service wasn't excessively fast either, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment and the atmosphere. In short, impeccable to say the least! Highly recommended. 19/07/2026: We were made aware of this osteria through a flyer after visiting Rocchetta Mattei. We don't usually respond to such things, but it was definitely worth it here! The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic! Especially if you like truffles, but they also offer 'regular' dishes of very good quality.

19/07/2026: Parking a bit inconvenient. Small, well-arranged space. The table for two is a bit small. Good choice on the menu. Excellent starter with a bit of everything. The pork fillet with truffles and parmesan cream is excellent, the pork is a bit stringy. The side dishes are excellent, the friggione, but the grilled vegetables are a bit too much at 8 euros. The house wine is good. Good service. The price (apart from the vegetables) is fair.

01/05/2026: A great experience at Bottega Aleotti. Spring 2026, and for lunch, we were offered either an inside or outside table. The staff and service were excellent. The baked goods are homemade, and we found them exceptional. Both the fish/seafood and traditional Bolognese/meat menus were well-chosen, excellent, and well-executed. The dessert that inspired us was the maritozzo in Chantilly cream with strawberries, exceptional! We tried the meat menu, but we'll definitely be back for the fish one!

I got the chocolate biscotti flavour and loved it. I noticed you get a bit more if you go with a cone instead of a cup, although the cup portions are still generous (photo is of a small)
