I went for dinner. The veal cutlet Bolognese with truffle was really good. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and courteous. A little pricey, but worth it! Well done!

An old tavern, but nicely renovated inside.
Few tables, a good selection of dishes... but the classics are always a sure thing: meatballs and peas and the Bolognese cutlet, both excellent.
A good Sangiovese to accompany the food, and a fair price considering the quality and generous portions.
The only downside is the very loud noise in the dining room, as it's the only communal area.

We went to Osteria Il Cannone for lunch on Saturday, and the experience was truly excellent in every way.
We started with a surprising appetizer: cod meatballs served in a delicate curry sauce, an original and perfectly balanced combination. Next, the tortellini... simply spectacular: you can taste the skill of the pasta makers, with their thin pastry and rich, authentic filling, true to Bolognese tradition.
The potato tortelli with cheese, mortadella, and balsamic vinegar were also excellent: a delicious, well-constructed, and truly satisfying dish. And to top it all off, we finished with a classic Bolognese cutlet, generous and perfectly cooked.
All the dishes were carefully prepared, flavorful, and of the highest quality. The service was courteous, attentive, and never intrusive, helping make the lunch even more enjoyable. The wine list was also good, with interesting and well-selected options.
All in all, a truly successful lunch, with excellent value. A place to return to without thinking twice. 🍷🍝

A truly unforgettable experience. This place leaves you with something unforgettable.
The quality of the tagliata meat is immediately apparent: tender, flavorful, and enhanced visually by the combination of colors and mushrooms, which make it simply sublime.
The balsamic vinegar ice cream was a real surprise... truly top-notch.
Perhaps the only thing I would improve on, personally, is the platter: for my taste, I found it a bit too bland compared to the quality of the other dishes.

Il Cannone is a traditional osteria that has become sophisticated in a good way.
Cloth tablecloths, meticulous attention to detail, excellent and precise service, a thoughtful menu...
Traditional dishes and other pleasant twists, especially the fish dishes.
I must say, excellent dishes.
Some traditional choices—guess what they are—suffer from over-flavoring.
But that's a matter of taste.
The price is adequate for the service.
A place to keep in mind and try, especially for the daily specials!
