06/04/2026: I was there recently for lunch, and I have to say I can't wait to go back. The first courses were excellent, made with top-notch ingredients, which was reflected in the kind of flavor that, unfortunately, is increasingly rare to find. The preparation was also practically perfect. The highlight of the meal, however, were the crescentine with cured meats. Especially the cured meats and cheeses. There's a shop next door that sells gourmet products, including top-quality cured meats and cheeses, sourced from top-quality local producers (it's a passion of the owner). And you can taste the difference compared to the typical crescentine place that serves cured meats that all taste the same (or almost). This quality of the ingredients, among other things, makes the quality/price ratio truly excellent. The wine selection also seems interesting, although not extensive. The place is an osteria, so not an elegant or sophisticated restaurant, but the atmosphere is in keeping with the type of place: clean and well-presented, with well-placed tables and, despite the small space, not too crowded (a tad too crowded for my taste, but still acceptable, considering there were only two of us, so another table for two next door was almost inevitable). Even though it was crowded and there was a large table, it wasn't too noisy, especially since the food is so good that by the time it arrives, you're busy eating. As I said, I can't wait to go back, and this time I'll just order the crescentine and cured meats. Not because the first courses aren't worth it, but because I want to enjoy the cured meats better.

02/04/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant by chance, but I must say I ate and drank wonderfully. The restaurant is located a few kilometers from Castel San Pietro Terme, nestled in the rolling hills, easy to reach. The place is clean, tidy, and meticulously cared for, even with an outdoor veranda full of flowers. The staff is kind and attentive, and they make you feel right at home. We had perfectly cooked veal tagliata, plentiful, and served ready to eat, seasoned with olive oil, rosemary, and coarse salt... tender and succulent!!! The grilled vegetables were equally delicious, and for dessert, a perfectly made crème brulee. We also got a coffee and a discount at the register, even though it was our first time there... we'll definitely be back, even though it's 80 kilometers from my home. Kudos to all the staff!!! Reservations recommended

11/12/2025: When we got married at La Gaiana, Da Jari was the caterer for the wedding reception. Stefania and her team welcomed us from the very beginning and accompanied us until the very end. The great connection and strong relationship she has with the wedding venue were crucial to the event's success. Every aspect was handled with great availability, kindness, and professionalism. I speak of an event because, beyond the rehearsal of the wedding menu, the reception itself, and therefore the culinary choices, Stefania accompanied us and advised us on the management of many aspects that go far beyond the simple menu and food alone. She is the glue and an indispensable presence for the day to run smoothly without too much stress or complications. A wedding forces you to become an event planner for a day, a very delicate and heartfelt day, attended by so many loved ones. That's why I can only recommend Da Jari and La Gaiana Location and thank them for how they handled every single detail. Even and especially regarding the catering's "core business"—the wedding lunch—we and our guests were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food offered. We personally opted for a traditional Emilian menu (balanzoni, lasagna, suckling pig, and potato pie), which we and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed! Every request we made was accommodated, and no detail was overlooked (with particular attention to allergies, intolerances, etc.). Regarding the wine list, we were also able to choose from a wide range of options after a tasting experience in the cellar, which was also a very positive experience. We won't go into detail here; this review is a huge thank you to Stefania and her entire staff, who, in perfect harmony with all the other vendors and the venue owner, made our wedding PERFECT. Thanks to Stefania and her team, we were able to choose every detail, and thanks to their experience and professionalism, everything on our wedding day was perfect! Even today, after all this time, we still receive so many compliments: from the service to the menu, everything was exquisite and served with the right timing and portions! The always smiling and attentive wait staff didn't go unnoticed, as did the quality of the entire work. Having Stefania by our side even in the months leading up to the wedding is truly an added value: thanks to her professionalism and experience, she was able to guide us in the choices best suited to our needs and made the preparations a unique experience! 11/05/2026: Right in the center of Castel San Pietro, the restaurant is quite small and rustic. The food was good. I had tortellini in broth, then a noodle dish, which was excellent. Unfortunately, it was very noisy. The service was very fast and friendly. I'd say it was a positive experience.

28/12/2025: Tried for the first time, this restaurant, hidden behind a vending machine, is a surprise, especially once you cross the threshold: from the outside it might seem anonymous, but inside it reveals a pleasant Scandinavian style, featuring light woods and understated lines that create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine is undoubtedly the strong point. The menu is neither over-the-top nor cheap: a few local specialties, well-executed and prepared with top-quality ingredients. The portions aren't large, but they are balanced, and the consistency of the offerings—confirmed by previous reviews—is an added bonus. The prices are fair and perfectly in line with the quality offered. The service, initially a bit rushed and distant (probably due to the arrival of other tables at the same time), later proved to be friendly and empathetic. The coffee was also good, a pleasant end to the experience. A place that leaves a positive impression and one we'll gladly return to if necessary.
