15/02/2026: Very nice restaurant with great food. The burratina with grated bottarga was such a great combination! The salsiccia was very tasty. My wife loved the lasagna. They are also very flexible and cater to special requests regarding certain ingredients. We enjoyed our stay very much not least because of Allessandra and her partner, who took excellent care of us. 26/03/2026: Perfect for a lunch break, based on fish but not only, excellent first courses, try the spaghetti alla norma, seasoned with aubergines and provola.

17/03/2026: After too many meat-heavy meals, I was in the mood for something lighter - so this Sicilian seafood place seemed perfect - although it's not just seafood, they have other things too. The swordfish in olive and tomato sauce that the waiter recommended was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The sides were disappointing though: the artichoke was mushy and bland, and the bread was stale. That said, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was relaxed and there was no problem getting a table without a reservation on a Sunday evening.

05/04/2026: We waited 2 hours for the first course, and bread and water arrived after 40 minutes. The waiter came to take our orders, but didn't bring us the menu first. Really poorly organized. Avoid coming here unless you're on a regular day of the month.

The kitchen combines tradition with creativity in a way that feels both confident and deeply authentic. The seafood spaghetti was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, but the standout was the grilled fish served with a remarkable sauté of fennel, green apple, red onion, and Marcona almonds — a combination so delicious I was tempted to order it again. Their panelle, the classic Sicilian chickpea fritters, were light, and beautifully made. Dessert continued the theme of excellence: a smooth pistachio cream and a Sicilian Torta Caprese in a luscious sauce. The wine selection was thoughtful and well‑paired, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. 18/06/2025: Ottimo ristorante, che in tanti anni ha sempre mantenuto una qualità altissima sia delle materie prime che delle preparazioni. Cucina originale siciliana, semplice e di altissimo livello. Servizio cordiale e attento. Uno dei posti nei quali io e la famiglia ritorniamo sempre con grande piacere.

05/06/2025: Excellent Sicilian restaurant in Bologna. Very good octopus with potatoes, not your average octopus. Then the stuffed squid, which is like a journey to Sicily. A feast for the palate. Good sparkling rosé wine by the glass. Excellent lemon sorbet with mint. Delicious and hard-to-find Zibibbo Passito (flavors I haven't tasted in 15 years). The place has a perfect, relaxing atmosphere with jazz music. The owner, Attilio, is exceptionally kind.

11/02/2026: Spectacular lunch. Delicious food, fresh fish, generous portions, and meticulous presentation. The accompanying wine was excellent. The value for money was fair. Not cheap, but for what you get, it's worth it. I've been wanting to go for a long time, and I think I'll be back very soon.
