29/03/2024: We were there for lunch with two small kids. The chef was helping us with the menu since he spoke English. The food was very yummy and they were very kind and warm.

03/03/2024: There is no parking nearby. Place located in the centre. I recommend booking. Tasty dishes, revisited, not abundant. Yes, he prefers quality over quantity. Courteous service. Still old fashioned place. Medium-high prices.

05/04/2024: A gem in the center of Budrio. Small but welcoming place and excellent cuisine. The bucatini all'amatriciana is really good. The "Lecco" dessert is excellent with very solid cream and berries.

11/02/2024: Location in the center of Budrio, restaurant inside a little small but well organised. The proximity to the kitchen makes the room smell a little too much from the food and when you leave your clothes are full of this. Various dishes from pan pizza to spaghetti and second courses, we tried pizza and spaghetti, all very good. Friendly, helpful service with an eye on children. Medium-high prices. Parking nearby.

05/04/2024: Nice place, great service. The food partially satisfied me, the Chinese was excellent, the Japanese was nothing interesting. I took hosomaki and nigiri, unfortunately the nori seaweed was not crunchy and the sea bass was cooked. There were strange sauces on it and the wasabi was missing. By current standards it is a good 'Japanese' but it is too different from the original one. E.g. Uramaki don't exist in Japan, fried hosomaki don't exist, no one would put philadelphia or avocado in sushi. Finally, the star less (it fully deserves 4) for the incorrect food delivery order: First the 2 second courses, then the appetizer and finally the miso soup (tasteless) which in Japan accompanies the meal as a drink. Nice place, good food, so-so price, too different from real Japanese.

23/03/2024: This morning, as I often do during my mountain bike rides, I stopped to have coffee. As always it is excellent and I happily have a chat with the owners who are always kind. The room is clean and welcoming. If you're passing through, I recommend a stop.

29/03/2024: We were there as a family. They were very warm and friendly. The kids were moving around the restaurant and it was no problem for them. The tortellini with Ragu was very yummy. And all the other pasta and lasagna dish were also very good. The lamb meat was also good. We went there for lunch twice. Definitely recommended.

17/03/2024: There were 3 of us at dinner. Everyone took different things to try more dishes. Excellent crescents, not at all greasy. Abundant cold cuts platter. Porcini mushrooms, both grilled and fried, are excellent as are the fried courgette flowers. The Veturia carbonara with truffle is really interesting. The oxtail was really good and well prepared. The bulk wine and also the liqueurs are good. Good value for money. There are also pizzas to try and other Roman dishes in addition to our classics. Courtesy and professionalism are not lacking. I will definitely go back.
