09/03/2026: I hate to leave negative reviews, but this time we're just not there. The grill was charred and overcooked. The bread was a day old, and the dishes arrived uncoordinated. The first courses and desserts were excellent.

08/03/2026: An unforgettable experience of taste and view We visited this restaurant last night and were immediately struck by its extraordinary impact: the location is stunning and offers a breathtaking view that, alone, is worth the visit. We were a group of friends (two couples and a friend), and the welcome was impeccable: the staff and the atmosphere immediately proved extremely friendly, making us feel at ease. The cuisine: local and passionate We began by sharing a variety of appetizers. An honorable mention goes to the giardiniera: despite its simplicity, it exudes all the flavor of local produce and a passion for the region. It was a promising start and did not disappoint. For the main courses, we split: The grill: The rest of the group shared two Florentine steaks, masterfully cooked and tender as butter. My choice: I preferred to focus on seasonal flavors, enjoying a superb seasonal first course followed by a masterfully cooked wild boar. Despite the generous portions, the quality was such that I finished everything with extreme satisfaction. Drink and finish on a high note We paired our dinner with their own wine, a deliberate choice that proved to be a perfect fit and consistent with the restaurant's philosophy. To finish on a sweet note, the panna cotta was the icing on the cake: delicious and with the perfect consistency. The verdict: An excellent experience not only for the food and the view, but also for the quality-price ratio, truly competitive given the high-quality ingredients.

01/04/2026: We didn't have a wait even though we hadn't booked. We ate mostly meat, which was very good. The staff was friendly and quick, and the lady at the cash register turned on a vintage pinball machine and the jukebox for us. The price was average and it was a good deal. We'll definitely be back.

08/04/2026: I went as a couple for traditional Neapolitan mussel soup on Holy Thursday (the only one available in Bologna), but I wasn't at all impressed with the hard, almost inedible freselle, the lack of sauce, and the dry, cold seafood. Fortunately, the michelemmà appetizer served before the soup somewhat made up for it. The service was good, thanks to a fast, efficient, and polite waiter. For three courses and dessert, we spent €100, but we weren't entirely satisfied. In conclusion, the place was probably a bit too loud, with the outdoor dining area full, though adjacent to the indoor one, and a karaoke night that had already started at 8:15 PM. In my opinion, certain "extra" activities should be postponed a bit later in the evening, at least so everyone can enjoy their dinner in peace and quiet, and then, perhaps, we can do/endure something else.

05/04/2026: Everything was excellent. The fish was incredibly fresh, the dishes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff and owners were helpful and professional. Highly recommended.

17/03/2026: Sunday lunch with friends (for eight). A place where tradition and local tradition reign supreme, evident in the dishes you eat. I always love coming back, like this time: an excellent appetizer of mixed cold cuts with exquisitely crafted tigelle and crescentine, tagliatelle with ragù that tastes like homemade, a generous and excellent mixed grill of meats, and traditional desserts like delicious rice cake, zuppa inglese, and chocolate salami (I love these). For those of us from Bologna, stepping inside is a bit like reconnecting with our roots, a romantic return to the delicious cuisine of Bologna and the surrounding hills that has made it famous nationally and beyond.

02/02/2026: Attracted by the reviews we'd read online, we went to this restaurant on Sunday evening. Nothing to complain about the plating, as it was truly meticulously prepared, certainly among the most beautiful we've seen so far in Bologna. BUT (there's a big but), we saw a huge cockroach crawling along the wall next to a table and approaching the clean plates. The waiter, noticing its unwelcome presence, quietly reached over with a handkerchief and removed the creature, without replacing the plates underneath or even disinfecting the area in question. We reported the incident at the cashier, but the waiter made it clear he didn't understand what we were saying and didn't know what a cockroach was. So, while I compliment the chef, I won't be returning to this restaurant again. I'm sorry I can't attach the video of what we saw.

15/04/2026: We ate over 2 kg of Florentine steak, mixed crostini, baked potatoes, house wine, and two desserts. €75 per person, well spent. This is our second time here, and when we're craving good meat, this is definitely the place to be. The owners are very friendly and approachable.
