19/03/2026: I had a very pleasant experience at Al Tavolaccio in Bologna. The atmosphere is simple and authentic, the kind of place where you feel like you’re eating where the locals eat, not in a touristy restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick.
I ordered Tagliatelle al Ragù Bolognese, and it was very tasty, with a rich and well-balanced sauce typical of the local cuisine. The portion was generous and the value for money was very good.
It’s a great place for a relaxed meal after walking around the city. If you’re visiting Bologna and want to try traditional Italian food in an authentic setting, this place is definitely worth a stop.

21/02/2026: I had a delicious lunch yesterday, February 20, 2026, with friends who were all extremely satisfied. Homemade pasta: tiny tortellini in broth and tortelloni with squacquerone cheese. The passatelli were also excellent. The veal cutlets on the bone and the tagliata were delicious. The dessert was exquisite. Highly recommended.

Birreria popolare is a 100% Bolognese establishment where you can enjoy a good selection of craft beers and traditional cured meats, all top-quality. The ability to watch Sky Sports matches is a major plus, but I'll definitely be back...

08/04/2026: Ruggine is easily one of the coolest spots in Bologna. Tucked away in a quiet alley, it has a great industrial, 'shabby-chic' atmosphere that feels super authentic.

We tried two burgers – the Taggiasca Club and the Classic Hamburger – and both were incredibly delicious. The ingredients were super fresh, perfectly balanced, and prepared with great care. The flavor was especially intense and truly high-quality.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was also pleasant and relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive.
A definite recommendation for all burger lovers – we'll definitely be back! – when we're next in Bologna!

12/04/2026: We came for the suckling pig. It was delicious, but the potatoes were burnt. Our tagliatelle al ragù wasn't hot and was the smallest portion we had of any restaurant we'd had in Bologna that week. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures.
