05/06/2025: Without fear of making a mistake, the best place in town to enjoy a "real" cutting board of quality products: first choice cold cuts, carefully produced and selected, with some treats such as mortadella with special ingredients. The rich and varied cutting boards are completed by an equally wide variety of exquisite cheeses and vegetables, to be accompanied with always fresh bread or focaccia. Good choice for vegetarians too. Really abundant quantities and at a more than fair price! Excellent selection of wines and beers, many craft. The owner Davide is very friendly and easy-going, available to guide you in your choice! What can I say? Highly recommended: try it and believe it!

05/08/2025: This is a nice cafe with a few tables inside and outside. It is located by the main road and a petrol station. I had a typical sweet Italian breakfast: cornetto with coffee: pistachio croissant had lots of filling plus cappuccino with a good foam - both really tasty. They also had savoury options and we picked one with prosciutto. The staff was super welcoming, smiling and friendly. It sets you with a good mood for the whole day 😀 thank you! Great option for an affordable breakfast (approx 7,5 euro in total for two) if you stay on the other side of Bologna train station.

28/06/2025: I often stop for breakfast. The owner is very nice and gives you a good start in the morning. Always very busy, they are very fast. Excellent pastries, good coffee. Too bad I can't go there for lunch

04/06/2025: My husband and I just spent the weekend at the Helvetia Hotel in Porretta Terme (31/05-01/06). The hotel is well-kept and elegant, as are the rooms, large and with attention to detail. Excellent cleaning. Friendly and helpful staff. The icing on the cake is the beautiful SPA, created from caves in an air raid shelter; a very suggestive environment, with soft lighting and background music, which makes everything romantic and relaxing.... open until 11:00 pm... the kit is available in the room, with: bathrobe, towel, slippers and cap. I can't wait to go back.... I RECOMMEND IT....

12/08/2025: I had to think about what to write in this review. I found the restaurant through a search for the best trattorias in Bologna (historic center) serving traditional, non-touristy dishes. It's certainly not a touristy place, but I was very unsure about the traditional dishes. The menu (which, I must say, was limited) included salmon, tuna tartare, and a revisited burger. Certainly, nothing truly traditional. Perhaps the first courses (only two options) were more Bolognese. In any case, the ingredients were up to par and of good quality, but all in all, I wouldn't return. The service was friendly.

03/08/2025: This is my favorite restaurant in the world. Amazing and I mean amazing food. The owner Antonella is such a good host and really makes you feel at home. I can’t say enough about how good the food is here, I cannot wait to be back in Bologna, just so that I can come here!

07/08/2025: The atmosphere is super welcoming, with typical Chinese decor. It feels like you're in a movie. Almost all the tables have some sort of antique vase next to them. The food is excellent, and they also offer takeout and home delivery. The ingredients used in the kitchen are exceptional.

19/07/2025: POCO TRASPARENTI Locale molto bello, atmosfera suggestiva e cena decisamente all’altezza. Nulla da dire sulla qualità complessiva dell’esperienza: ci siamo trovati bene, sia per il servizio che per la musica live, che aggiunge sicuramente valore alla serata. Il problema è arrivato solo al momento del conto, quando ci siamo visti addebitare 8 euro a persona come contributo per la musica. Una cifra non esagerata in sé, ma che non era stata segnalata in alcun modo né sui social né telefonicamente quando abbiamo chiamato per avere informazioni prima di prenotare. La trasparenza verso il cliente è fondamentale. Leggendo poi altre recensioni, ho scoperto che questa mancanza di comunicazione è un problema segnalato da tempo e che comunque non son state trovate soluzioni in merito. Trovo che sia un peccato, perché basta davvero poco per essere chiari: informare chi prenota permette a ognuno di scegliere liberamente come vivere la propria serata.

19/07/2025: LSono stata in questo locale per la prima volta, attratta dall’atmosfera suggestiva e dalla proposta di musica live. Il posto è davvero bello e anche la cena è stata piacevole, niente da dire sotto questo punto di vista. Prima di prenotare ho fatto tutte le verifiche del caso: ho consultato il sito, i social e ho anche chiamato per chiedere se si potesse cenare durante le esibizioni musicali. Nessuno mi ha menzionato un costo aggiuntivo per la serata. Solo al momento del conto ho scoperto l’addebito di 8 euro a persona come contributo per la musica live. Tengo a precisare che non contesto il pagamento del contributo in sé — è giusto sostenere gli artisti e valorizzare l’esperienza — ma credo sia fondamentale comunicarlo con trasparenza, prima che il cliente scelga se prenotare o meno. Inoltre, leggendo altre recensioni, ho scoperto che questa pratica va avanti da anni e che il costo può variare in base alla serata, rendendo ancora più importante una comunicazione chiara. Alla fine ho comunque passato una serata piacevole, ma è giusto che chi sceglie il locale sappia cosa aspettarsi sul conto, soprattutto se si presenta per la prima volta. La trasparenza è parte dell’ospitalità.

05/09/2025: A special restaurant just outside San Lazzaro. A fabulous location, just like the food. Stefania, the owner, and Elisa, her daughter, are wonderful restaurateurs, making you feel pampered from appetizer to dessert. Sublime products. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.
