Michelemma In Bologna

A fairly casual place with excellent Neapolitan pizza, attentive and helpful staff. Specializing in fresh, high-quality fish. Excellent for lunchtimes, the set menu is perfect for workers, but pizza and an à la carte menu are also available. Very refined atmosphere, now close to the new Naviglio Bolognese.

We arrived and the restaurant was not full, but we were given a table that was not so pleasant as there was draught. Our request to get another table was initially refused. But to their credit they gave us a very nice table and we were actually happy that we stayed as the food was excellent. We shared the mixed cold and warm seafood starter platter which was in fact two plates and excellent quality. Afterwards we each had a pizza. I took pizza Eduardo were the crust was filled with ricotta. I loved it and it is really difficult to find and my husband had a traditional pizza and again excellent. They recommended a nice local red and with water and espresso we had a perfect meal

Always good food. The Spaghetti alla Michelemmà was truly delicious; I'll remember it for a long time. The desserts were also delicious! And my friends recommend the pizzas! The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

I went as a couple for traditional Neapolitan mussel soup on Holy Thursday (the only one available in Bologna), but I wasn't at all impressed with the hard, almost inedible freselle, the lack of sauce, and the dry, cold seafood. Fortunately, the michelemmà appetizer served before the soup somewhat made up for it. The service was good, thanks to a fast, efficient, and polite waiter. For three courses and dessert, we spent €100, but we weren't entirely satisfied. In conclusion, the place was probably a bit too loud, with the outdoor dining area full, though adjacent to the indoor one, and a karaoke night that had already started at 8:15 PM. In my opinion, certain "extra" activities should be postponed a bit later in the evening, at least so everyone can enjoy their dinner in peace and quiet, and then, perhaps, we can do/endure something else.

Everything was excellent. The fish was incredibly fresh, the dishes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff and owners were helpful and professional. Highly recommended.
