It's the best pastry shop in Bologna: a historic establishment that has brought prestige to the entire Bolognina neighborhood since 1934. A first-rate pastry shop, with a consistently extensive selection (the photo I'm posting was taken just before closing time and, unfortunately, doesn't convey the full range of delicacies the master pastry chefs create every day). The place has an atmosphere of refined elegance, partly (and perhaps above all) due to the kindness of the staff; Simone, in particular, connects with customers with friendliness, savoir faire, and the utmost professionalism (not to mention his skill in making exquisite espressos). - April 28, 2026, update: something has changed lately... the quality of the pastries remains extremely high and the place is still very beautiful, but Simone's absence (it's been a while since I've seen him) is felt, oh so felt!... Only he, with his elegance and affability, managed to add a touch of class to the entire place. Since he's been gone, customer loyalty (especially among regulars) has deteriorated significantly... and the service has lost that extra something this place deserves and should have. Given all this, I'm forced to remove a star... what a shame!

A guarantee! I discovered it by chance, but now, whenever I'm in Bologna, a stop here is a must. Fresh and inviting sweet and savory treats. A warm welcome and kindness, even to occasional customers. A quiet, clean environment where you can enjoy a refreshing break any time of day.

Pretty good. Few places to sit.

The products are of excellent quality, but above all, the staff is exceptionally courteous. There's a welcoming, homely feel to the place, where you can sit back and relax without any qualms. Thank you for your dedication.

Strolling around here, I see this pastry shop with a well-stocked counter, so I go in for breakfast with my friend and we order a mix of desserts, including a cream and chocolate braid, not bad; a pastry with cream and apple, where the cream is good but the apple is nonexistent; a rice cake (I've tried better); a chocolate and zabaglione tart, good; a pistachio croissant, good but the pistachio cream isn't homemade; and then two mini pastries, one with cinnamon and chocolate and one with something else, but even though I love cinnamon, I didn't like the combination of ingredients here; one with melon, nothing special. I'll be back because there are a couple more desserts I want to try, as there's a wide selection, but for now I have to say the overall quality is mediocre.

A place of delights: wonderful desserts and cakes. The cheesecakes are very good.
