23/03/2025: The perfect place. I won't add anything else

20/03/2025: Great welcome. Quick to serve us our dishes even though the place was full (also a little noisy, but that's normal). We really enjoyed our dishes, in particular I was enthusiastic about the bigoli rustici, truly fantastic and then everything else up to dessert. We will return for the quality of their food.

23/03/2025: Occasion Dinner during a business trip Location Small restaurant / rotisserie in a town near Bologna. I won't remember the place for the setting but it is in line with the type of structure. Tables quite close together and a bit noisy when crowded. Food I would say spectacular! The pumpkin pie was delicious. The zucchini flowers stuffed with burrata and anchovies too! The cheek was very tender and tasty. The dishes my colleagues had were also very very good. Very good dessert. Price Excellent value for money. 40 euros per person for a starter, a main course and a dessert each. Including a bottle of wine. When I am again in the Bologna area, I will definitely go back!

16/03/2025: We booked with the fork, the menu prices were displayed on their website, but when we arrive and sit down they bring us another menu with much higher prices like a rock at €25 but apart from the price we ask if the mussels were fresh and they reply "yes of course" I won't tell you what the rock full of pepper tasted like what was missing from the marinated mussels...disappointing I don't recommend it!!

20/03/2025: Superior quality piadinas and watercress. Sometimes for lunch breaks it is better to call in advance to book in order to reduce the wait... if you are in a hurry.

23/03/2025: Di passaggio a Bologna Zola Pretola, ci è stato consigliato questo locale. Praticamente una sorpresa. L'attesa è un pochino lunga, ma i piatti (tipici romagnoli), arrivano copiosi e secondo norma. Consigliate le patate casata (che ho ripreso DUE VOLTE!) Grazie tantissimo

05/04/2025: EXCELLENT CHOICE LA TABERNA As soon as I entered I felt enveloped by the warmth of the nights spent in the clubs in Bologna many years ago. It's wonderful! warmth, smiles and the owner chef who sits at the piano and plays some pieces by artists known to all of us... well what can I say this is priceless!! and shortly after playing he returned to the kitchen giving me a warm and welcoming smile This is the Bologna that I have in my heart. obviously an excellent platter accompanied by a delicious Franciacorta which is always a perfect combination

09/04/2025: Very good culinary experience and very friendly staff. It remains a bit "unknown" in the sense that it is located on a busy road and there is no parking except on the street. However, once you enter inside you are immersed in the typical atmosphere of a trattoria and can taste typical Bolognese dishes.

From starters, to first and second courses, as well as desserts and good wine, you will be spoiled for choice! Truly comfortable environment and in the kitchen both Tommy and his boys really know what to do!🥰🤗😘 what else can I say, try it to believe it!

24/02/2025: Very welcoming and particular place, very kind and professional staff, very sociable and joking which is not a bad thing, wonderful food and well looked after. I recommend it for friends and as a couple. I came from Florence for an operation and the evening made me forget my worries. Thanks guys.

20/02/2025: Sono stato qui a cena l'altroieri sera. Il locale si presenta accogliente ed informale, anche se non molto grande. I piatti che ho ordinato erano davvero deliziosi (involtini di crescentine, flan di zucca e cotoletta alla bolognese). Carta dei vini modesta. Nota positiva anche per il dolce (cheesecake ai frutti di bosco). Ottimo servizio, il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Consiglio per chi cerca un locale tipico e non raffinato. Ritornerò!
