Great food and friendly service (sunday 14 juni 2026)

We went to dinner with friends at this restaurant, located in a quiet area of ​​central Bologna. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the ingredients, and the host's knowledge of matching wines with the dishes. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by to see Mauro, who will pamper you and delight you with his delicacies. Thanks for everything, Massimo.

Excellent food and a very good variety of quality wines.

We had lovely crostone (one topped with whipped mozzarella, the other with hummus and tomato), paprika roast potato wedges and friarielli with polenta. Our server was friendly and helpful. It was all delicious but the restaurant was a little quiet on a Wednesday evening.

Literally the gem of Bologna. Fabulous foodie-run restaurant with passionate owners and top class service. Tasting menu deserves the tasting wine menu. Both are epic. They deserve every bit of success they have earned. The passion for each course is shared as they arrive. Wonderful.

A great place with great food, great service and great wine. We dropped by early in the evening to enjoy steak tartare, duck ragout and wild boar ragout along with a superb bottle of red wine. Everything was fabulous.

Intended to stop for a glass or two of wine but ended up staying for an outstanding Bolognese dinner. Wine: exquisite. Had two excellent sangioveses from the region. Plenty more options available but didn't need to get radically drunk. Food focused on what historical Bologna trattorias would have served, but modernized. Our cheese board was incredible, each cheese better than the next - I only wished I had taken better notes at the time as I can't remember all their names now. Wild boar ragu - perfect. Perhaps not the current "approved" recipe for a Bolognese sauce but again capturing what was likely used prior to everyday expectations of ground beef and ground pork. My dish was "triangoli di pianura" which I thought might be out of season given the pumpkin but ended up as one of the most delicious ravioli dishes I've ever had. There's no shortage of good pasta and good sauces in Bologna - some will obviously be more touristy than others as you get into old town. Vinoteca Bologna is tucked away from the big crowds, and while the pricing may be a bit higher, the quality and the experience can't be beat.

Excellent wine restaurant with many good suggestions for food, with very nice wines and with very kind and smiling staff, very well informed. Filomena (I hope I say her name correctly) was amazing. Congratulations to the team!!!

A very pleasant wine bar, both for its ambiance and the friendly staff. A wide variety of platters featuring select local products. They explained the origin of each cured meat and cheese very well. A great selection of steak tartare. Generous portions. A good wine selection. Highly recommended.
