17/04/2026: Outside the city center, a historic place, traditional and unique, welcoming and familiar, where you can enjoy dishes with friends or alone. A must-have.
16/04/2026: So, you arrive and immediately enter a lovely, relaxing, and welcoming atmosphere. The service was good: the staff were polite, respectful of the customer (the service was timely), and young; I made a small mistake (certainly due to distraction) in that they took away the bread basket (still full) between courses without asking. Let's get to the food... The roast beef appetizer was exquisite; the meat was good, the dish was well-served and attractive (I recommend it).
First courses... Tagliatella with meat sauce, what can I say? The ragù was excellent, not too much sauce (it didn't overwhelm the pasta), and overall excellent flavor. The tagliatelle were excellent (I imagine they were made with fresh pasta), but unfortunately they were perhaps a little al dente. The dish was well-proportioned but with a refined flavor. The tortellini in broth were fantastic: well-served, excellent to eat (highly recommended).
Unfortunately, I didn't try the main course, dessert, or wine (I can't drink it in general), but given the excellent wine list provided with the menu, I imagine they must be well-made. The menu is understandable, simple, and attractive. A few flaws (nobody's perfect): inside the restaurant, I'd remove a few tables that are in the way of space and diner privacy; parking, but unfortunately there's construction work in the area for the tram; and the last sore point is the price, which is perhaps a bit too much like a restaurant rather than a trattoria. I ordered: an appetizer, two first courses, water, a 0.33 beer, coffee, and a cover charge, over €60. I'd never been there before and had been wanting to try the food for a while. I'd always heard good things about them. I'll definitely be back, as I was more than satisfied.
