27/03/2026: A typical and historic restaurant in Bologna. The atmosphere is dated but welcoming and full of memories. The staff is informal, kind, and helpful. All the dishes were delicious. I had fun trying a little bit of everything at my table, and I must say everything was delicious and high-quality. In addition to the traditional dishes, I also recommend the stuffed cappellacci (a must for those who love to mop up the bread with bread) and the delicious and light tiramisu. Give it a try!

22/03/2026: After a nice hike from the station to San Luca, I happened upon this restaurant with friends for lunch... what can I say??? The owner is very welcoming, helpful, and above all nice... the location is cute and cozy... and the food is very good... the taverna appetizer is excellent, as is the cotoletta alla bolognese... straccetti with artichokes are top... as are the first courses... excellent!!!! As for dessert... for dessert, we had the pistachio semifreddo, but there were only a few grains of pistachio... and if I really want to nitpick... the dessert was nothing special, but despite everything, the plate came back empty... since the owner has always been very attentive to everything and often came to ask if everything was okay and to our liking, he was told that the dessert wasn't that great, but he, as an excellent entrepreneur, apologized and offered us another dessert... what can I say??? I recommend this place, it's a good place, the food is good, the owner is truly top-notch... and the price is average. I recommend it!

18/03/2026: A hidden treasure inside Mercato delle Erbe. Also places tables right outside, for those who can't stand a slightly heavy fish smell from the market. From carpaccio to salad and fried dishes, there is a feast of flavors with fresh ingredients (probably from the market). Extremely well cooked and tasteful dishes. Not to mention also a very good treat of salty and vinegary fish fillet with avocado. As always the stuff was very polite, quick and professional. The only blemish i want to mention is the charge of 2 € for taped water. Of course not for the money - because the prices are very reasonable - but for the mentality of most Italian restaurants. You must visit this or similar places, to become a part of Bolognese culture.

04/03/2026: In the Navile area, just off exit 5 of the Tangenziale, we tried this restaurant for lunch, which seems to belong to another world. The owner is fantastic, both in his insight and his friendliness, the waitresses are smart and knowledgeable, and the dishes are incredibly delicious. Egg with truffle and eggplant meatballs as appetizers, saffron risotto and rabbit as first courses, and the inevitable vanilla ice cream drizzled with balsamic vinegar. With a mezzana of Sangiovese and two coffees, we spent €106 for two. More than fair: Highly recommended!

28/02/2026: A high-end restaurant serving top-quality dishes. Excellent selection of dishes, quite extensive without being overbearing, with original and traditional options. Service by friendly staff and a charming manager, delicious bread and breadsticks! Fantastic venison tortelloni and truly delicious Angus steak, tender and flavorful meat, baked potatoes just like grandma's. Simple but perfect choices. Even the more unusual dishes ordered by friends at our table were truly excellent. The pure Merlot was perfect. The Passito and desserts were good, especially the crème caramel. The price was high, but that was expected regardless. Recommended for an elegant, high-quality dinner.

10/01/2026: I've never eaten so well. Giorgia, a girl with a big heart, is super kind. The dishes are abundant and delicious, and I'll be there as soon as I leave the hospital. Thank you so much. Today I had exceptional dishes, generous portions, cooked to perfection, perfect flavor. After asking for some tips, I repeat, I've never eaten so well. I know what it means to eat well. I'm from Sicily and I know flavors, how to cook them. I spent three months in the hospital. I can't wait to go out and come with my children and eat right there. I'm telling you, hot dishes. They seemed freshly made to order. The kindness of the lady, whom I thank so much.

25/12/2025: A fantastic restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the kindness and hospitality of the staff. I enjoyed exquisite dishes, from appetizers to first courses and desserts. For me, it was a sad and challenging day due to the illness of my partner, who underwent surgery at Sant'Orsola Hospital. These gentlemen welcomed me despite the restaurant being fully booked on Christmas Day and made me feel at home. Thanks again to this magnificent restaurant. Carla

12/04/2026: Everything was delicious, clean, and the service was very attentive.

11/04/2026: Delicious! Mashed potatoes just like my nanny used to make, who would be 126 today! Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and mixed boiled meats. The owners were incredibly kind. We hadn't been able to book, so we waited, and after about 20 minutes we were finally seated. If you book, remember that after 15 minutes late, your table will be given away. The trifle was truly delicious.

06/04/2026: Fantastic experience! The atmosphere is quiet and familiar, the food excellent, and you can taste all of Emilia in the dishes. The staff is super welcoming. It's a shame we didn't try the pasta dishes: we'll have to come back to try those too!
