23/06/2025: My wife & I were visitors from Ireland. We walked from San Luca under the Portico on Sat 21 Jun back into the city centre and stopped in the Corner Bar en route where we were welcomed by a very friendly staff member and served by equally friendly staff. We had a delicious sandwich between us and a beer each. We were so impressed with the overall atmosphere and friendly vibe that we booked for a meal the following night. The meal consisted of delicious tapas which we thoroughly enjoyed with a bottle of Rosé. The staff were attentive and helpful, a particular call out to Miceh who checked in on us regularly enquiring was everything OK, we highly recommended this restaurant either for lunch or evening tapas, you won't be disappointed

22/06/2025: I sat in this bar on the Sunday of Strabologna. Serious mistake. People were running at me and this forced me to leave. In my haste I forgot my bag only to realize it 30 minutes later. I called and went there 3 times only to be rudely kicked out with a "I told you it's not here". A week later the police station called me to tell me that the staff at the corner bar had delivered my bag. Didn't you say it wasn't there? Once I recovered it, my documents were inside but they stole my AirPods and IQOS. I'm not insinuating that they took them but at least checking when I tearfully requested the loss of my documents could have been nice. Terrible human behavior, compliments to the "staff"

10/06/2025: The adjective of a Bolognese for this restaurant is: "genuine"! The menu is that of a grandmother on a weekday, simple and effective quality and service. As for the bill, I must say that they are satisfied. Suitable if you don't feel like preparing and at the last minute you pop out.

05/06/2025: Cozy place, kind and accommodating staff and very good food. Excellent desserts of their own making. With the fixed menu you can eat first course, second course, side dish and coffee spending a little less.

31/05/2025: Friendly and accommodating staff, the things made by them (tagliatelle, ragù, roast beef) excellent. Bread and sides to improve, but it is truly a great place!

02/06/2025: Tasting menu as a couple with my partner. Very good food and you can see the care and research in the good quality ingredients. I will definitely come back to try a new menu when they have it.

01/06/2025: Nice trattoria, full of objects on the walls, where you eat well and spend little. Emilian cuisine, air conditioning in summer, lots of desserts and wines. I didn't like the crostini in mortadella foam because it was a bit bitter, maybe because of the pistachio or balsamic vinegar, but it's a matter of taste. They have a rich menu so you will surely find something good.

07/06/2025: Excellent food, white tablecloths. Top marks. We opted for spaghetti and ravioli with truffles. Very good.

06/06/2025: This place is the food heaven everyone is always talking about. This is partly due to the excellent food, which, as we learned upon asking, is prepared using family recipes. Furthermore, the ambiance is simply wonderful. Locals and tourists alike line up here or reserve a table in advance. The panna cotta was from another planet, mouth-wateringly delicious. Many thanks to the master chefs and the exceptionally friendly waiters.

16/04/2025: Looking for a quick takeaway dinner I came across this place. I ordered a watercress with sausage, potatoes and mozzarella and a panzerotto with herbs, caramelized onions and sausage: both exquisite, tasty but delicate at the same time. Highly recommended!

14/04/2025: space food, genuine, baked. everything seasoned more than generously, from the watercress to the herbs and cheese to the pizzas and parmesan. very small environment and practically only for takeaway (there are only a couple of seats), but for those who are from the area it is 10 steps ahead of the competition, both in terms of quality of the ingredients and authenticity of the service. Well done p.s. the pizzas are not Neapolitan style but very crunchy and with little crust. I like them that way but if you're looking for a classy Neapolitan Sapori is not for you.

23/06/2025: Really interesting backstory and overall such a hip vibe. We got excellent wine recommendations and enjoyed the ones we got. The inside is really cute but the obvious option is to sit outside in the bustling seating area. We sat on the steps across from the bar and had a lovely pre-dinner drink. They staff was super friendly. There are a few bars on this strip and this one may have been a little less busy-unclear why because it's definitely worth the try.

12/05/2025: Looking for something edible on a Saturday night without a reservation. My eye falls on a small place... let's try to see... I'm immediately greeted by a kind and welcoming smile who explains the menus and the fillings of the empanadas. I can accompany them with some good Argentine wine. Absolutely honest price. Possibility of takeaway. Absolutely recommended

10/06/2025: Have been dining mostly at establishments south of Via Farini. Solferino continued the pace of fresh quality food, pleasant helpful staff with enthusiasm for sharing their local dishes. lasagne and tagliere were awesome. Went a little non regional with gnocchi with guanciale, asparagus in parmesean cream sauce. Very good after several nights of gramigna, tortoloni, tortellini, and tagletelle with ragu'. Had a couple of bad experiences in the centro and seem to pay about 25% more for similar quality usually served with an attitude. My dining tip for Bologna is stay south of Via Farina. Plenty of choices, delicious quality meals served by people that are happy to have you.
