08/10/2025: Honest review: I booked a table for 17 people. We were kindly welcomed to the restaurant on a large table upstairs for 16 people, as one of us had to depart else where. Prior to arrangement, we were given a set menu and the restaurant managed to accomodate our allergies and dietary wishes, no problem. The food was traditional from the region and seasoned well. As wel paid the bill, we were surprised that we had to pay for 17 people instead of the 16 that received the food. The waiter did not mention this to us and we should have double checked this in the restaurant. I contacted the restaurant about this and I received an email back stating they do not refund the person who was not present. The reason being that they were not able to seat another 2 people. On the other hand, the restaurant could have taken the table as it was unoccupied and empty but they did not care to ask. If you ever visit this restaurant, be very cautious as the owner does not refund your reservations. Talk about Bolognese hospitality, not.

18/10/2025: I spent three days in Porretta, a place recommended by a friend... I came all three nights! Excellent cuts of meat, excellent butter, and the "big Rufus" with 300g of meat is world-class! Informal place, friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended. I forgot: very fair prices considering the quality of the ingredients used, all local.

29/09/2025: I've been a regular customer for over a year, and everything is excellent. What stands out most is the quality of the products—the fries are among the best I've ever eaten, as is the quality of the meat and the unique and never boring sandwich menu. Another important aspect is the service, especially Rossella, the owner. She's truly a hard worker and always attentive to customer needs, kind and ready to listen to everyone's needs. The atmosphere is informal and makes you feel at ease. Excellent value for money. Kudos to all the staff.

19/10/2025: I ate tagliatelle with ragù that was so good it went down in history :-) I can't wait to go back and try something else.

18/10/2025: Bolognese evening, green lasagna (spinach) 4 layers no 7, fettuccine with ragù same green pasta but on the menu it is not listed. Normal portions. The tortellini in broth are not many but they are sold by weight now. Open kitchen, warm and familiar atmosphere. There are benches and stools. At a table for 4 they put a partition on the table, it's a bit strange... maybe for young people it would be fine... They do 2 sittings. Prices are normal, excellent cover charge €1. I recommend it. One room entrance area cashier_kitchen and another separate one.

17/10/2025: A traditional trattoria, albeit renovated in terms of its interior and furnishings. First courses are traditional Emilian, while second courses are more international, with a few Spanish cuts of meat. The Bolognese cutlet, however, is a must! Decent wine by the glass, and good desserts. Prices are average for other restaurants.

13/10/2025: Homemade and best scaloppine I have had in Italy. i don't know why so many negative reviews, the young lady was kind to receive us on 13/10 at 17 in the afternoon, when nobody else would accept us. We have had antipasti, scaloppina alla bolognese and some spritz, honestly it was very good. Maybe slightly more expensive than in other towns but overall a good experience and the bread wasn't too bad. The lady serving us was very kind and gentle and honest, for me it was a top experience and there is nothing but a good moment spent there. They offer gluten free options, they also offer to make pasta for you as a side dish even if it wasn't on the menu, a great address with fresh ingredients.

13/10/2025: A must-visit if you are in Bologna. The ragu bolognese is wonderful and it was made with fresh gluten-free tagliatelle - we were astounded! We also ordered two starters - gnocco fritto and friggione - both also so flavourful and with incredible, homemade gluten-free bread! The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the setting is very traditional and homey. Can't recommend enough.

20/10/2025: Sunday lunch with a group of thirteen friends. We had a wonderful time! The food was excellent and plentiful, and the service was prompt and efficient. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old-fashioned trattoria. Highly recommended, especially for the delicious tagliatelle with meat sauce and lasagna.

15/10/2025: Friendly staff, super-fast service. Heavenly food, excellent beers. The veal cutlet Bolognese is truly superb. Highly recommended for an evening with friends!

27/09/2025: Excellent traditional osteria. Delicious tortellino with parmesan cream, good passatelli and zuppa inglese. Overall, I saw some lovely dishes pass by. My bill was €33 with two glasses of wine and water.

12/10/2025: I've been a customer for years and I gave it a 5....the food is still very much appreciated, but I have to complain about the treatment I received yesterday. I had spaghetti with clams for lunch. When asked how it went, I reported that I had found 10 closed clams, almost half of those on my plate. The waitress said she'd report it to the kitchen, and in any case, it was obvious because I'd left them on my plate, separating them from the shells of the consumed ones. I expected a word or an apology, but no one showed up. It was toward the end of the lunch hour, so it can't be said they were overwhelmed with service, given the few tables already occupied. I was very disappointed. I didn't expect this from a place I love and have been frequenting regularly for years.

12/10/2025: Because it's in front of the fish section, the whole store has a cold feel. The food is very expensive but the portions are very small. I was surprised that the nearly 20€ platter was only the size of an appetizer. The salad was 12€, but it was worse than the vegetables you can buy for 1€ at the supermarket. The flavor was bland, so I wouldn't recommend it.

26/09/2025: A lovely little restaurant outside Bologna. The welcome is excellent, the service is perfect, and the traditional and non-traditional dishes are excellent, with some well-executed off-menu options as well! Prices are average.

18/08/2025: I ordered from Glovo at this place. The kids' piadina kebab arrived, barely three bites and it was gone! The portion of fries was half the box! It's the first time I've seen people work like this! If you'd served me stuff like that in the place, I would have thrown it at you!
