20/05/2026: Very good place to eat, I recommend making sure you have a reservation. The tigelle with the white pesto are amazing, I would eat that every day if I could! I recommend trying their pasta (primi), they are all very good. The only dish I don't recommend is the plate of boiled meats (which is literally just a plate of boiled meats) as their most vegetable-like side dish is fried zucchini

05/05/2026: This place might seem touristy, but it's actually a perfect example of a Bolognese trattoria. A different menu every day, an extensive wine list, and courtesy and hospitality are what you'll experience at Fantoni only after enjoying their delicious dishes. Fantoni has average prices for a downtown restaurant; don't expect to spend less than €20-30 per person. PS. This may not be information for everyone, but they also have Gaza Gola!

08/05/2026: An excellent Chinese restaurant with fair prices! After being traumatized at a well-known and historic Chinese restaurant in Bologna, where I spent as much as I would at a typical Bolognese restaurant, I stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant, where the quality is decidedly better and the prices are much lower. Clean (even the bathroom), well-decorated, and the service was excellent and very friendly. This is my experience compared to that of another disappointing and overpriced Chinese restaurant in Bologna: The spring rolls were flavorful, rather than simply tasting of boiled cabbage. The grilled meat dumplings were large, perfectly cooked, and had a great filling, rather than being small and bland. The fresh Chinese noodles with shrimp were excellent, with distinctive aromas and flavors. The duck with mushrooms and bamboo shoots was very tasty and carefully prepared. The Chinese beer was reasonably priced, not like a bottle of wine. I will definitely be back!

25/05/2026: This evening I had the pleasure of savoring the delicacies of this magnificent restaurant serving traditional Apulian cuisine. This evening I sampled the seafood: homemade spaghetti with mussels, and for the main course, grilled cuttlefish with asparagus and burrata (Rating 10). I was amazed by the flavors. I'm completely satisfied. I'll be back very soon.

10/05/2026: I'm writing this just as I'm having dinner alone on a trip to Bologna... a fantastic discovery... a perfect place, the perfect place to enjoy simple dishes, yet extraordinarily prepared with care and simplicity. Congratulations, and it's a shame you're closed (lucky you) for two and a half days... see you next week.

21/05/2026: We had lovely crostone (one topped with whipped mozzarella, the other with hummus and tomato), paprika roast potato wedges and friarielli with polenta. Our server was friendly and helpful. It was all delicious but the restaurant was a little quiet on a Wednesday evening.
