A truly original idea: you can buy fresh pasta and take it home, or eat at the tables in the nearby café. I had the lasagna, and it was very good.

Friendly staff, fair prices, and excellent quality. Edit 2026: Prices have increased and the quality/quantity has slightly decreased. At this price, I don't know if it's worth it.

Counter style order & collection with option to sit and eat at the bar opposite and enjoy a drink with the food. Staff were really friendly and provided recommendations that did not disappoint. Unreal fresh pasta and cool different kind of eating vibe amongst locals

Homemade pasta to cook at home, or cooked with a choice of sauces to take away. No seating on site, but that's okay. What's interesting is that you can watch the friendly ladies making the pasta while you wait for your order.

this is some of the best pasta I’ve ever had- if not the best pasta I’ve ever had. So incredibly fresh and flavorful. You taste the love. This little humble takeaway ends up being just perfection. I will think about the artichoke lasagna in particular, long into the future. My friends went here years ago, & they made sure we came back during my first visit to bologna. I understand why. we went twice in a row.

31/07/2026: Excellent place for traditional food. Family atmosphere. Fast service. Conveniently located at exit 9 of the Bologna ring road. Reasonable prices.
24/07/2026: This was by far the best restaurant we visited during our trip to Italy! Authentic cuisine, impeccable service, and absolutely delicious dishes. But above all, we felt a truly warm, family atmosphere. The son manages the service, the mother takes the orders, and the father-in-law advises you on wine selections. We were genuinely touched by this experience. All they're missing is a Michelin star, for those who care about that! Leaving this place, we told ourselves that one day we absolutely had to return. You must go if you want an authentic and unforgettable Italian experience.

Trattoria Bertozzi

09/06/2026: Excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff.
03/06/2026: Having gotten out of today's Bologna hearing just before lunch, I decided to take the car and try the eponymous Trattoria Bertozzi on Via Andrea Costa. Unfortunately, it's not mine, I'm not even a minority shareholder, and it's actually a portmanteau of the two owners' surnames. Reservations are required (it seats twenty!), the friendly Bolognese atmosphere inside, the service is courteous, and the restaurant offers an excellent cotoletta alla Bolognese with a glass of Barbera Rosso!
