The food is good – the mini burgers are quite interesting, but so-so. The interior design is very interesting, and the toilet with a bench is a real highlight. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

11/12/2025: When we got married at La Gaiana, Da Jari was the caterer for the wedding reception. Stefania and her team welcomed us from the very beginning and accompanied us until the very end. The great connection and strong relationship she has with the wedding venue were crucial to the event's success. Every aspect was handled with great availability, kindness, and professionalism. I speak of an event because, beyond the rehearsal of the wedding menu, the reception itself, and therefore the culinary choices, Stefania accompanied us and advised us on the management of many aspects that go far beyond the simple menu and food alone. She is the glue and an indispensable presence for the day to run smoothly without too much stress or complications. A wedding forces you to become an event planner for a day, a very delicate and heartfelt day, attended by so many loved ones. That's why I can only recommend Da Jari and La Gaiana Location and thank them for how they handled every single detail. Even and especially regarding the catering's "core business"—the wedding lunch—we and our guests were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food offered. We personally opted for a traditional Emilian menu (balanzoni, lasagna, suckling pig, and potato pie), which we and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed! Every request we made was accommodated, and no detail was overlooked (with particular attention to allergies, intolerances, etc.). Regarding the wine list, we were also able to choose from a wide range of options after a tasting experience in the cellar, which was also a very positive experience. We won't go into detail here; this review is a huge thank you to Stefania and her entire staff, who, in perfect harmony with all the other vendors and the venue owner, made our wedding PERFECT. Thanks to Stefania and her team, we were able to choose every detail, and thanks to their experience and professionalism, everything on our wedding day was perfect! Even today, after all this time, we still receive so many compliments: from the service to the menu, everything was exquisite and served with the right timing and portions! The always smiling and attentive wait staff didn't go unnoticed, as did the quality of the entire work. A historic establishment that has successfully reinvented itself, they offer both a traditional menu, featuring typical Bolognese dishes prepared according to tradition, and a more creative and imaginative seasonal selection, all delicious. With the first courses, they always serve a small, soft sandwich and a small bowl of vegetables. Water and a cover charge are included in the price of the main courses. The staff are very attentive and friendly, with prompt service. Takeaway is also available, as are fresh pasta, tortellini, lasagna, and other specialties, as well as traditional desserts.

24/03/2026: I came to dinner with my cousin with the promise of a great meat-based dinner. The promises were kept, with plenty of picanha; if it were up to me, I'd recommend just eating that; it was so good. A well-stocked buffet, the waiters were incredibly kind and friendly; I love them. The desserts were very sweet but still delicious; the coconut dessert was the best. A spectacular drink of Brazilian grappa with the waiter. The bill was fair, €51 per person for eating, drinking, laughing, crying, and any other emotion you could want. (Apparently, girls pay less on Tuesdays 🥳🥳🥳)

13/04/2026: We had a great experience at Trattoria Monte Adone. We really enjoyed the tortelloni with truffles and the ravioli with mushrooms. The grilled meats are also of high quality, and there's a good selection of wines. The portions aren't small at all, so it's a recommended place, especially if you're passing through the Via degli Dei. The only caveat: the prices aren't the cheapest; this trattoria could be a little better.

16/12/2025: I'd say one of the best pizzerias around Bologna. Delicious Neapolitan pizza, a cute and pleasant place, excellent value for money. I recommend making a reservation! Whenever you're planning a pizza party, Mastanto is the place to be.

The space itself is also quite small, which means it can be difficult to find a table during high season. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the experience more pleasant. Overall, it’s a decent place just don’t go in with very high expectations, especially when it comes to portion sizes

07/04/2026: We were really looking forward to the tagliatelle with ragù, but unfortunately, it was sold out. As an alternative, we ordered lasagna, tortellini, and the ragù burger. Everything tasted delicious and was of good quality; there's nothing to complain about there. However, it was quite disappointing when you've been really looking forward to a particular dish—especially since there were still about two hours until closing time.

We discovered this trattoria with a wide selection of traditional yet innovative dishes, always carefully crafted, featuring mushrooms, truffles, and exquisite meats. Thanks to Marco and Giuliana, hospitable, family-friendly, and extremely professional, they made our dining experience fantastic. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: A fantastic experience at this family-run yet extremely professional and high-quality trattoria. There were six of us adults and we sampled fantastic fried mushrooms, followed by tagliatelle of various types, which were sublime in flavor, and then larded fillets with truffles, paired with truly exceptional wines recommended by Giuliana. What more can I say? We'll definitely be back.
