28/12/2025: My family and I stopped here for lunch during a trip to Spoleto and were truly delighted with the quality of the food. In addition to the à la carte menu, the owner also offered the option of making changes to accommodate guests' preferences. I personally tried the radicchio and taleggio risotto and it was phenomenal. My parents had the meat and were equally thrilled! The gratinated vegetables were also delicious. Highly recommended! 🌟

14/11/2025: First time dining here... a wonderful surprise, everything wonderful: food, wine, service, ambiance... Trust them on the wine pairings for every course; they never fail. 10 out of 10!! The best in Ponte San Giovanni and the surrounding area.

06/01/2026: Very refined atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. As for the food, it's good and the dishes are carefully executed... one negative note, but that's a personal preference. The wine is a bit acidic, but again, that's my personal preference. The top rating isn't based on my personal taste, because I think they deserve it.
04/01/2026: Everything was excellent, from the food to the service. My partner and I booked only a few hours in advance (on a Friday evening), and yet they still accommodated us. Plus, I'm celiac, so at this restaurant I enjoyed a gluten-free "Tagliere del Postiglione" and excellent tagliolini with truffle, cooked to perfection (and celiacs know that's not common). We were offered complimentary liqueurs, and the total price was absolutely fair. My compliments to the entire staff.

20/03/2026: Years later, I still feel intense indignation at the appalling character of the female owner of this restaurant. The noodles I ordered a day in advance didn't even contain shrimp; this kind of perfunctory service was an insult to the customer's intelligence. Even more disgusting was that simply because I used two napkins, she publicly and sarcastically berated me for "wasting Earth's resources." I still vividly remember her face, abusing her power and using environmentalism as a guise for discrimination. She was extremely obsequious and servile to foreigners, yet turned around and attacked her fellow Chinese with extreme cruelty. This wasn't an isolated incident; many of my Chinese friends have had similar experiences of being humiliated by her. This ingrained racial hypocrisy and sycophancy towards foreigners while bullying one's own is a disgrace to overseas Chinese. If you don't want to pay money to be insulted and humiliated by such a psychologically twisted person, please, absolutely avoid this place!
10/01/2026: The food is very authentic, and the menu features many traditional Taiwanese dishes. I highly recommend the braised pork rice and grass jelly! You can taste that all the dishes are made with fresh ingredients, unlike many Chinese restaurants that use frozen food. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance!

22/02/2026: After a long journey to Umbria, with the legitimate expectation of a gastronomic break befitting the region's fame, we decide to stop in Spello and have lunch at the Il Pinturicchio restaurant. The order is simple: two salads, water, wine, and two first courses, starting with truffle stringozzi from the menu (€16). The waiter emphatically suggests the option "with the most prized black truffle from Norcia," described as far superior in quality and aroma, with a €20 surcharge. We accept, confident in the authenticity of the product, worthy of the description. The salads arrive, as does the water; the wine does not. Despite the dining room being practically empty, we are forced to call the waiter back, distracted by his phone, before he completes the service. A seemingly minor detail, which already highlights a lack of attention to detail. Then the stringozzi with the "most prized truffle" arrives. The olfactory impact is nil: no scent, no trace of the aroma that should characterize the dish even before tasting. The situation worsens on the palate: the pasta is completely bland, devoid of flavor, character, and above all, any real perception of truffle. The flakes on the surface are purely decorative, devoid of any sensory feedback. We call the waiter, and shortly thereafter the owner intervenes. After clearly explaining the lack of flavor, aroma, and balance, the response is surprising: the owner openly admits both the dish's lack of flavor and the lack of truffle aroma and flavor, justifying it with phrases like "I offer what the suppliers send me," "it wasn't one of the best vintages," etc. A statement that doesn't alleviate but rather aggravates the criticality: if the inadequacy of the main ingredient is known, it becomes incomprehensible to propose it as the star dish of the day, with a surcharge and emphatic claims of its supposed excellence. Out of sheer necessity, not pleasure, we're forced to add Parmesan cheese, oil, and salt to make the dish at least edible, an intervention that effectively certifies the failure of the original preparation. Despite the explicit acknowledgement of the deficiencies, the bill is not followed by any correction, no commercial gesture, nor any concrete assumption of responsibility: €60 requested and paid in full. The most critical point is not the culinary error itself, but the discrepancy between promise and reality. The customer doesn't pay the supplier, but the restaurant, the selection of raw materials, the quality control, and the consistency between description and result. Presenting as "precious Norcia black truffle" an ingredient that the owner himself describes as lacking in aroma and flavor constitutes a serious communication and quality discrepancy, difficult to justify from a professional perspective. In short, the experience was disappointing on every level: inattentive service despite the empty dining room, overblown and misleading marketing, a dish lacking in character, and a complete lack of corrective action in the face of acknowledged issues. Given how frequently we return to the area, we feel we cannot recommend the restaurant to anyone seeking a dining experience consistent with Umbria's high culinary reputation.

07/03/2026: I wish I could actually give a review of the food, but unfortunately, having waited 80 minutes for an appetizer, I'll limit myself to one star. It could be the perfect place to accompany a game of Risk; 5-6 hours of play should be enough to enjoy a full dinner. The only positive note: the waitress tried to apologize for the situation, an attitude that absolutely didn't come across at the cashier, without even a single €1 of shame.
