22/11/2024: In vacanza in zona mi viene consigliato il ristorante Fontanelle, mai scelta fu più azzeccata, arrivo verso le 12.00 e chiedo se era possibile mangiare, ci dicono di sì ma che è presto, comunque ci accompagnano al tavolo e che avremmo dovuto aspettare un pochino, essendo in vacanza e non avendo fretta rispondo di non preoccuparsi, si ripresenta dopo 10 minuti con due bruschette per ingannare l'attesa ( pensiero gentilissimo ed apprezzato) poi arriva il figlio Alessandro che ci consegna i menù e prende l'ordine, sentendomi non apprezzare il tartufo ed essendo lui un cercatore di tartufi, ci spiega bene cosa sono i tartufi (confesso la mia ignoranza in materia) e ritorna dopo poco con due bruschettine con crema di tartufi, lo ringrazio ma gli ripeto sia io che mia moglie non apprezziamo il tartufo... alla fine con un pò di insistenza mi riesce a far assaggiare la bruschetta wow buonissima, mi sarei preso a sberle da solo per le volte che ho snobbato il tartufo. Proseguiamo con fettuccine in bianco al ragù di chianina (eccezionali fatte in casa) e tagliata al rosmarino con patatine fritte, sublimi. Che dire ho prenotato anche per il pranzo di domani, sapori autentici portati avanti con sapienza. Ho comprato anche l'olio e una boccia di vino. Consigliatissimo e se posso ci ritornerò con i miei amici.

04/02/2025: Pequeño bar de vinos excepcional en el centro histórico de Bevagna. Los platos de pasta eran espectaculares. La carta de vinos es diversa, y bien valorado. Las porciones son generosas (grandes). Se habla inglés. Se sube por un tramo de escaleras hasta la zona de estar cubierta y también hay mesas afuera en la calle peatonal. El servicio fue atento y los correos electrónicos sobre la apertura en la última semana del año fueron respuestas inmediatas. Una joya.

Una hermosa sala de arriba todo listo para este evento. ¡Muchos buenos vinos para elegir! ¡Entonces la comida! ¡Fue un sabor perfecto de acción de gracias! ¡Todos los platos estaban deliciosos! ( ¡y no tenía que cocinar! ) El relleno sabroso, el pavo, las batatas, Bruselas, el puré de patatas y la salsa, fuera de este mundo deliciosas cebollas... ¡pastel de calabaza! ¿Necesito decir más? ¡Por favor vea mi foto del menú! 23/12/2024: What a nice little bakery cafe. Stopping through Foligno on a Sunday you'd think the town had banned cafes (it said Domenica Chiuso on the door but it was open). Thankfully this place was open and we had a lovely cappuccino and a biscotto. Nice warm lighting, jazz, and friendly service. Will come back next time I stop in foligno

10/11/2024: We too, attracted by the latest reviews, set out on the trail of the Grinch. We were hoping for an encounter with the mythological figure, but nothing, to receive an individual with a beard and hair, but unfortunately they were not green, but black. Jokes aside, we can only compliment you on the excellent welcome and cleanliness. Comfortable rooms with a splendid view of the valley with a breathtaking sunset (we had requested a panoramic room for which we paid a supplement in addition to the Smartbox box). Breakfast with many delicious homemade desserts; their hazelnut biscuits are unparalleled, so much so that we asked for the recipe. Until next visit......always looking for the Grinch

31/10/2024: Veniamo spesso in Umbria, ma questa volta siamo partiti all'ultimo momento e non abbiamo avuto il tempo di organizzarci per la cena...ma per caso ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante, abbiamo deciso di provarlo e siamo rimasti davvero sorpresi e soddisfatti dall'elevata qualità della cucina e dalla cortesia del personale (in particolare abbiamo apprezzato l'ironia "anglosassone" di Gabriele e la calorosa simpatia di Elio). Dopo oltre venti anni che veniamo in Umbria, abbiamo mangiato gli gnocchi al sagrantino più buoni proprio in questo ristorante: si vede subito che sono fatti in casa, ognuno è diverso dall'altro, fantastica è la consistenza perché quando si mordono sono compatti ma poi un attimo dopo si sciolgono al palato...fantastici! Buono l'antipasto, tagliere di prodotti tipici locali, ognuno dei quali ha un sapore intenso ed unico. Buono anche il vino della casa, così come i contorni. Non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di provare altro (le porzioni sono anche abbondanti), ma i dolci sembravano piuttosto interessanti. Consigliatissimo!

08/01/2025: Having left the state road, we wanted to grab something to set off again... certainly the place, as you can understand from the name, is suitable for wine tasting, and perhaps a good aperitif, the girl is cute and kind, but the food, despite being pre-cooked, is terrible .. cold soups and uncooked burgers.. gourmet portions.. experience to forget.. never again
