29/07/2025: Terrible! Testone has never been synonymous with quality, but in recent years it has deteriorated dramatically. Today I had the classic torta al testo with herbs and sausages. The cake, served with a small, thin napkin, was already greasy when it was served. Since there were no napkins at the table (nor plates or cutlery), it was inevitable that a mess would happen. But that was the least of it. The cake had just been reheated and was soggy that the slice couldn't stand up on its own, whereas it should be crispy or at least drier on the surface. Inedible. The sausages (which have always been of poor quality) are first boiled and then grilled just to give them their characteristic color, rather than grilled. Today's didn't even have the color of grilled meat; they were simply sad, boiled sausages. So imagine a soggy torta al testo with boiled sausages, full of tough parts, a sign of poor-quality meat. The grilled potatoes are made with the same technique: boiled potatoes, halved, and quickly grilled just to get them black. The potato salad (which is nothing more than potatoes, onion, and parsley) was served cold from the fridge and completely unseasoned. The food is better in the hospital. And then hygiene... well, just look at the jars of salt on the tables. I've attached a photo. It's the second time I've had such a bad experience, and I'll put a stop to it. If you're looking for a quick lunch featuring Umbrian peasant cuisine, this isn't the right place: peasant cuisine doesn't mean shoddy. The big head in Città di Castello, on the other hand, seems to exploit a connection between the two concepts in order to justify the extremely low quality of the raw materials and preparation. The chain's commercial slogan says "eat genuine," and there's absolutely nothing genuine here, not even the prices.

17/08/2025: We visited this pizzeria and were thrilled! The Roman pinsa is truly amazing: light, crispy, and made with the freshest ingredients. The portions are incredibly generous, not just for the pizzas but also for the fries, which are generously portioned and always crispy. For those who prefer a lighter option, they also offer rich and tasty salads, prepared with care and attention. The staff was incredibly kind, always available, and always smiling. A special mention to the pizza chef, who came personally to chat with us: truly an exceptional person, passionate about his work and capable of conveying all his passion in his dishes. Highly recommended: quality, abundance, and a welcoming atmosphere! 🌟🍕

22/07/2025: While traveling, we stumbled upon this charming resort, not yet fully completed but already offering a pleasant experience. The main building, built of stone, exudes charm and ensures a perfect indoor temperature, especially on the hottest days, making it a favorite. We ate lunch on the outdoor veranda, which is quite breezy—perhaps less convenient in the height of summer, but still pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised by the cuisine: meat and fish dishes prepared with care and attention to the finest ingredients, all at a price in line with the offerings. Although it was our first visit, we can confidently say that the quality is above average, and obviously the prices aren't too high. The menu may vary, but what we tasted exceeded our expectations. We discovered this place thanks to a promotion on TheFork, which allowed us to discover this excellent hidden gem. Even non-golfers will find compelling reasons to visit—and we definitely recommend it to those seeking good food, tranquility, and a touch of charm. We'll reserve the fifth star for a return visit and a broader global experience.

18/07/2025: Posto assolutamente sconsigliato. Lasagna congelata riscaldata e fatta riscaldare nuovamente perché congelata nella parte centrale. Posto fuori non pulito. Costoso per quello che ti danno non ne vale la pena. Diffidate dal menù turistico! Una presa in giro.

We were in Greece for 6 years during our summer holidays and it seemed like we were there again... instead of in a hot and muggy Perugia in early June! Moussaka and Pita with excellent sheep, Saganaki "different" from how we usually ate it but very tasty. "Hot/cold" cinnamon cake and... I don't remember:-) very good sweet distillate and the courtesy, friendliness and kindness of the owner complete everything! 04/06/2025: First time eating Greek food, and it was Fantastic!!! --- First of all the MOST important part, the food: 4⭐️ Delicious, everything I had left me really satisfied! •I started by eating a Grilled Halloumi (halloumi, sesame and honey) as an appetizer, a Greek specialty, nothing short of amazing!! A complex but balanced taste! RATING: 5⭐️ •Then I ate a pita with Beef (Bifteki) and I tried two traditional sauces, Tzatziki and Tirokafteri, with French fries, This dish was also Delicious, perhaps the only flaw of this dish is that the meat was a little dry, but still good in taste. RATING: 4⭐️ •For dessert I had a baklava, a typical dessert from the Balkan area, VERY GOOD, I have nothing else to add, to taste to understand, I can't describe it in words! RATING: 5⭐️ ------ Now the service! Simply immaculate, helpful, smiling and polite staff, I felt truly treated like a guest, almost feeling a sense of pleasant comfort! 01/07/2025: Vinimos dos veces, tan fácil y bueno! Sirven pizza sin gluten y hamburguesas. Tómalo con una copa de vino rossi casa y disfrutarás del pequeño lugar... y hablan inglés. Así que si necesitas una parada en tu camino, disfruta de tabla (significa tabla y blabla... )

07/06/2025: We went to Tabla’ Bistrot in Spoleto and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was really good, well-prepared and with quality raw materials. We tried the tartare, excellent: fresh, well-seasoned, really balanced. We also really liked the tagliata, tender and tasty. The pinsa was a nice discovery: light, crunchy and with well-matched ingredients. A well-kept place, relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. From the outside you might not expect much, but once you sit down you realize that the food here is really good. To keep on your list.

07/08/2025: We chose to stop for lunch here because of the outdoor courtyard and the good reviews...and we were more than satisfied. We ate typical local cuisine, trying different dishes, and while not all of them were amazing, we really enjoyed some. The waitresses even brought us games and crayons to keep the kids entertained.

05/08/2025: We loved this place. The rooms are spotless. The grounds are beautiful. There are plenty of places to eat in the area but the house restaurant is fabulous so don’t hesitate to stay for dinner right there. We loved the pool. AC very string an no issues. The very best part of staying here was the service. They will bend over backwards to assist you in any way possible. We were directed to an Amazing chef for a private cooking lesson. I’ve recommended this place to my friends and this is s no-brainer. If I head back to the region I will re-book here

27/07/2025: We stayed at Borgo Della Marmotta for four nights, and overall, it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful old borgo, surrounded by rolling Umbrian hills and olive groves—it really is a stunning location. The buildings themselves have a lot of charm and character, with that classic countryside feel that’s hard to beat. That said, it’s fair to say that the place is a bit rough around the edges. Some parts feel a little worn out and could use a refresh, especially considering the price point. It’s not a luxury experience, but it does have a relaxed, rustic atmosphere that’s easy to settle into if you’re not expecting polish. The on-site restaurant was a highlight. The food was genuinely good and reasonably priced, with a menu that offered enough variety without trying too hard. We ate there more than once during our stay and were happy each time. Breakfast was decent but repetitive. It didn’t change at all during our four days, which made it feel a bit dull by the end. The biggest letdown was the coffee—it was from capsules, which felt out of place in a region where great coffee is everywhere. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic place to stay and don’t mind a bit of wear and tear, Borgo Della Marmotta offers a charming spot to unwind. Just go in with the right expectations and you’ll likely enjoy your stay.

22/05/2025: Pizzeria located in Girasole, in the pedestrian area of ​​the shopping center, so it has a very very large parking lot. Quite large place, inside it has only two tables, but in the nice weather outside it has many more. Anyway, tables aside, it is absolutely worth going there because they make a very good pizza, both by the slice and round, both to eat there and take away. The one with mozzarella and courgettes is special, as is the classic margherita. Also recommended is the pizza with spicy salami. The dough is light and very digestible, it does not swell and is not heavy. The mozzarella they use is good. Surely to prepare the pizza they use good products, put their skill into it, they obtain an excellent result. Highly recommended.

06/08/2025: We went for a fixed menu for €27, excluding drinks. Two people, including 1/2 liter of wine and 1 liter of water, paid €65. A single person who ate the same thing with 1/4 liter of wine and 1 liter of water paid €30... oh well! Prices were set somewhat haphazardly; there's no menu, so you can't check or dispute them. Disorganized service, long waits, and some tables were forgotten and only served after a complaint. A strange dinner consisting of a few very modest appetizers and a first course... no second course, and no dessert. Perhaps with the daily menu, people could understand and decide whether to stay or not. Not recommended!
