Canasta In Spoleto

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. The atmosphere wasn't so great - the room was brightly lit (fluorescent?). We almost passed the place up because of it, but we tried it out and are glad we did. You adjust to the lighting quickly. Other than the lighting, the setting was nice. I had risotto with taleggio and truffles. Delicious. My husband had carbonara, which he really enjoyed. The folks at the next table had the lamb with roasted potatoes, which looked wonderful. All in all, I would recommend trying it out.

A fantastic restaurant where we enjoyed truffle risotto and truffle pasta on the terrace. A real treat! Dessert was an exquisite tiramisu and chocolate fondant. A beer and a bottle of sparkling water brought the total to 60 euros. The waiter was friendly. I highly recommend it.

Friendly, helpful staff I didn't find much choice on the menu because there's no fish menu on Mondays.

My family and I stopped here for lunch during a trip to Spoleto and were truly delighted with the quality of the food. In addition to the à la carte menu, the owner also offered the option of making changes to accommodate guests' preferences. I personally tried the radicchio and taleggio risotto and it was phenomenal. My parents had the meat and were equally thrilled! The gratinated vegetables were also delicious. Highly recommended! 🌟
