Typical restaurant in the area where it is located, we had two excellent first courses, but above all the grilled meat and the lamb were 10. Courteous waiters and normal prices. We will definitely return.

A welcoming and carefully decorated restaurant.
I'll be cautious about the food: the first courses are good but pre-cooked. The same goes for the second courses: I chose a cockerel alla diavola, and it arrived after 15 minutes... The meat was quite dry! I cook too, and chicken doesn't cook in 15 minutes. It was served with grilled vegetables, yes, but reheated... I'm disappointed about this. It gives me the impression of a tourist-catching restaurant. What a shame!

During a weekend getaway with friends, we stopped for dinner at this restaurant, having seen some pretty good reviews.
The location is very central; we dined at a lovely outdoor table, though it's a shame about the sign for a 1960s-style ice cream shop.
Personally, I had the pleasure of trying the typical strangozzi with truffle, which left me a bit disappointed. The pasta was sticky (I had to add oil) and the flavor was strange. I'd been warned that the truffle wasn't fresh but frozen (the most prized), and my stomach evidently didn't like it, given how I felt the following night. My friend, on the other hand, had a mediocre, rather fatty tagliata.
I wouldn't recommend it to friends.

Coming from Rome, we booked for lunch on Easter Monday. Our reservation was for 2:00 PM, and upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mirko, the owner. Lunch was a succession of five-star courses! The rib-eye steak was "popo bona," as they say in our area, as were the rabbit and the grilled Cinta Senese pork. The first courses were also excellent, but the meat was from another solar system. To finish, a perfect zuppa inglese (trifle) and typical local liqueurs. In short, let the owner advise you and the waiters pamper you. Highly recommended, given the excellent service despite the hectic Easter Monday. Thank you, Mirko, and thanks to all the staff!
