25/01/2026: As they say, "a botta sicura" (a sure thing); the French fries are worth the trip, but don't underestimate the rest; even a simple appetizer of cold cuts shows a careful selection of the finest ingredients. Strangozzi are homemade, as are the desserts. A proper wine list is lacking.
11/01/2026: We have been stopping to eat at this restaurant for years when we travel to Norcia and everything is always perfect.

15/01/2026: Nice place, good food. In winter, there's not much to do, and the road is rough. Great for meditating and enjoying the garden. In summer, there's a lovely pool.

14/02/2026: Wonderful restaurant in Gubbio, we came at last moment for lunch. Staff very friendly and table was well spotted. Few choices and went for Menu for the Day (Menu del giorno) for good price, it was complete with dessert included. It was very delicious - awesome homemade food.
07/01/2026: The gnocchi stuffed with Gorgonzona were obviously packaged.
The bread was poor quality.
Everyone was smiling and helpful, but the ingredients were poor.
The price was moderately low.

15/03/2026: The owner, Gabriele, was incredibly kind and helpful; he accommodated our request for a vegan lunch by cooking us a tasty and hearty burger. Between the good food, the pleasant company, and the beautiful village of Castiglione, we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended to anyone passing through!

09/02/2026: Seasonal menu, selection of all local ingredients, simple yet delicious dishes, impeccable service, warm welcome... all in a small, quaint inn, with just a few seats and with Lorenzo, who does everything himself, from chef to waiter, and everything by himself.
23/11/2025: A casual restaurant where you can enjoy excellent food prepared right before your eyes. There are very few tables, which is precisely why the chef prepares food on the spot. The appetizer included cured meats and a delicious marinated pumpkin salad, which paired perfectly with the cured meats. The fennel soup was delicious, and it made us want to try the fettuccine with sausage.
Everything was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended!

26/10/2025: Breathtaking views of the Castelluccio plain. During our stay, we even enjoyed some snow on the summits of some of the mountains. A traditional dinner and a hearty breakfast were served. The price was reasonable, considering the warm welcome, the room, and the location.
13/10/2025: I've been staying at Monte Veletta for a few years now. It's the perfect place: you sleep well, it's clean, beautiful, and Signora Luigia's cooking is exceptional. Michela, her daughter, waits tables and makes the desserts. Breakfasts are plentiful, with Michela's cakes. It's a family-run establishment: I recommend trying the lentil soup, which comes directly from the land of Signor Ottavio, the head of the family.

30/01/2026: My boyfriend and I had a great time. They have a completely gluten-free menu. I had the pumpkin flan, the risotto, and for dessert, the pear with vanilla ice cream. I loved all three dishes.
Good value for money, excellent location because it's in one of the main squares.

The service was very slow; we left from 7:15 PM until 10:00 PM.
The customer needs to be taken care of from start to finish.
We had high expectations, but we were disappointed. What a shame.
