20/08/2025: I hate to give such negative reviews, but I can't help it here. Lured by the excellent reviews, we stopped for dinner for burgers.
We weren't given the best advice on how to feed our two-year-old. Thinking about getting chicken, we were told it was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Well, the chicken was a mess. If it had been a dish for an adult, I wouldn't have eaten it. It was inedible, dry, and tough. It wasn't made at the right time, definitely not that day, and it was reheated the next day. It's appreciated that we didn't ask for it, and they remade our dish. We tasted a bit different, but it still wasn't a success.
Another sore point was the burgers. The meat was good, as were the seasoning and the combinations. The problem was the bread was dry, both on the outside and the crumb; it wasn't fresh bread at all. Three burgers, three sandwiches, all so identical. I saw the sandwiches at other tables afterwards, and they were soft to the touch, so we were given stale stuff. For the proposed price of €16 per dish, this is something you wouldn't expect.

29/04/2025: Sul sito internet è "Locanda del Meno 3", ma ora si chiama "L'Osteria Ragriglia" piccolo problema per trovarla. Il locale è accogliente, pulito, sistemato adeguatamente e personale disponibile per ogni esigenza. Porzioni, servite in padelle, abbondanti e condite ottimamente. L'unica "pecca" è che non siamo stati avvisati del doppio turno (avremmo iniziato prima delle 13:15 o prenotato dopo le 14:00) e quindi abbiamo dovuto rinunciare al dolce, comunque il caffè e l'amaro lo abbiamo preso al bar sottostante che è della stessa gestione.

15/07/2025: We spent 4 days in this special place. My partner and I can only say thanks to Jacopo, Luciano, Estela, Valentina and Elvira for their availability, kindness and what can I say? Arriving in this place is like touching the sky with a finger. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a bit of peace and serenity within themselves. When our car broke down in the middle of nowhere in Umbria in the Fall of 2024, we thought our evening was doomed. But as luck would have it, our reservation at La Cucina di San Pietro a Pettine was still on the horizon. We called ahead to explain our delay, and to our surprise, the restaurant went above and beyond, sending not one, but two cars to rescue us! This gesture alone set the tone for what would turn into an unforgettable evening.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with warmth and charm, instantly swept up in the magical atmosphere of the restaurant. Nestled in the rolling hills of Umbria, the restaurant exudes rustic elegance, with its beautiful stone walls, soft lighting, and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It was like stepping into a fairytale, and the calming setting immediately lifted our spirits.
The real magic, however, came from the food. Each dish was a celebration of local ingredients and traditional Umbrian flavors, prepared with skill and passion. We started with a rich antipasto platter of cured meats, cheeses, and homemade breads that left us craving more. The main courses were equally impressive—tender pasta, perfectly roasted meats, and fresh, vibrant vegetables that tasted like they’d been picked just moments before.
By the time we reached dessert, we were completely enchanted—not just by the food, but by the whole experience. The service was impeccable, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and every bite was a reminder of why Umbria is such a special place.
Despite the rocky start to our evening, La Cucina di San Pietro a Pettine turned what could have been a stressful situation into a perfect night. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Umbria—this gem of a restaurant has earned a spot at the top of our list.

18/06/2025: Dinner with friends. Welcoming, beautiful and clean environment, characteristic. Damiano the fantastic owner! Fast service despite it being a Saturday night and the place full. We ate divinely, very fresh and quality raw materials. The wine of their production, Colibrì, lovely and perfect with the dishes. Highly recommended

Ristorante “Sapori nel Borgo”

17/07/2025: Located on the top of a hill between Spoleto and Trevi, both the village and the convent offer a relaxing panorama!
Not even an hour's drive from the main Umbrian cities, therefore convenient for travel.
With both breakfast and dinner you feel pampered by the staff and chef Rosy's delicacies! Dinner is not included in the price, but I highly recommend it!!!
We stayed in one of the apartments in the village, a real journey back in time!
Spacious, equipped with every comfort, very comfortable beds (I have rarely slept in a bed like at home!), the bathroom is also comfortable.
For breakfast you have to go down to the convent, I don't think it's even 100 metres, but I found it to be a pleasant morning walk! If you don't like morning walks, there are rooms at the convent too!
For parking there is space for everyone, some parking just above the convent, 2/3 parking spaces immediately outside the entrance to the village, and then you can park along the walls of the village. We will confidently return here and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know Umbria and relax in the meantime!
13/06/2025: When you want to escape from the chaos of the city it is the perfect place. Very kind and prepared staff. They pampered us. An excellent continental buffet breakfast.

13/08/2025: A huge and well-organized restaurant for groups and families with children, with a playground adjacent to the tables to let off steam while waiting for their food, avoiding grumbling, nagging, and tantrums. That alone would be worth a full 5 stars. Excellent and varied appetizers, good pizzas, although we had to ask twice for the baby version (which should have arrived with the others) (a likely, and forgivable, oversight by the kitchen). Plenty of parking nearby. Average prices.

03/08/2025: Five of us went to the theater festival from Spain and arrived very late. They were just closing, yet they were so kind to serve us with a smile. The food was so good and the service was so pleasant that we decided to come back a few days ago. We made them wait again due to work, and even though the kitchen closed at 2:00 PM, they continued serving us until 3:00 PM. Even when they had to close, they asked us if we wanted coffee. It felt like home. You can tell the high quality of the ingredients and the excellent cuisine. Thanks to the waiters, cooks, and boss. You're amazing, keep it up!
We hope to come back soon.
