05/06/2025: Locale caratteristico, molto accogliente ed ospitale (personale simpatico ed alla mano). Ho ordinato un Tagliere ricco di diversi tipi di salumi e formaggi e come secondo un Roast-beef (molto delicato ed abbondante) servito su un letto di misticanza. Vino gradevole e super nota di merito per gli amari. Bella sorpresa!

31/05/2025: Abbiamo trovato questa osteria per puro caso ma non ci saremmo mai aspettati che una scelta così tanto fuori programma ci avrebbe regalato una serata così piacevole. L’ambiente è accogliente, con quella atmosfera autentica che solo le vere osterie sanno offrire: calore, semplicità e tradizionalità. Oltre alla bontà dei piatti, fatti da loro e con l’utilizzo di prodotti puramente locali, siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dal personale…l’accoglienza, la disponibilità e l’attenzione dimostrata fin da subito ha saputo fare da contorno a quella atmosfera già famigliare che il solo locale da se sa trasmettere. 22/04/2025: Nice place for lunch. The risotto is a big over cooked, the only plate we didn’t like so much, but our dog loves it! Liver pasta is great; antipasto mixture plate is great, with local cheese ham and salami. A very kid dog friendly place.

19/04/2025: Of the Umbria that excels in the world, the Lungarotti company in Torgiano undoubtedly deserves a place of importance in the ranks of the agricultural sector and, first and foremost, in quality oenology. It all began at the end of the 1940s, thanks to the prophetic foresight of the knight, to say the least. Giorgio Lungarotti, it is with him that the valorisation of the vine, in this small and completely unknown terroir, has taken on considerable importance over the years. The rediscovery of native vines, together with innovative and complex production techniques, will lead the company to explore new horizons. The first tangible results were achieved in the second half of the Sixties, Lungarotti obtained the first DOC in the region for the white and red wines of Torgiano and the fifth in Italy, together with much more suitable regions such as Piedmont, Veneto and Lombardy. In the nineties the DOCG was followed for the Torgiano Rosso Riserva Vigna Monticchio cru. This is why I recommend the guided tour of the cellar, which among other things is completely free.

17/05/2025: Nice place, I had high expectations after reading the menu, even if in many aspects it is not clear (for example, on the menu there is the item supplì at the cost of 6.00 euros, asking for an explanation we were told that it was not one, but 6 of the small ones, when they arrived we knew there were 6 but not that they were different from the classic supplì, they were with cheese and lemon, something not written on the menu and not specified by the person we asked for an explanation); in particular I was curious about the first "Rapé gnocchi, etc." when it was time to order the waitress informed me that they have few so they would be served together with the trio of gnocchi, the "classic" tricolor of gnocchi, when they arrived at the table I was quite disappointed, the red turnip gnocchi were not there, the quantity was small, they were nothing special; another person at my table had the snails (the version offered without the shell), once again the quantity was disappointing, there were four snails and a lot of sauce, good but few, it certainly wasn't a dish to pay 10+ Euros for. In general I can say that the food is good, not special, not cheap, but the appetizer is very good and satisfying; a piece of advice for restaurateurs, if you don't have a product, say it openly so the guest can choose something else, instead of leaving disappointed because the product served is not what he had requested, advice for guests instead, ask for explanations so as not to be disappointed. Given my experience I don't intend to return

30/01/2025: Ci siamo andati qualche volta in questo locale quando venivamo in zona ma d'inverno che stavamo dentro, purtroppo scritto solo ora la mia recensione perché quando siamo andati via non ricordavo il nome del locale, casualmente passando nuovamente ci è venuto in mente lo spiacevole cosa che ci è capitato e che adesso ve la racconto. Siamo andati in famiglia io, mio marito e le mie due figlie, 4 panini , 2 birre e 2 coca cola, ci hanno messi al tavolo all'esterno, dopo un po' che sono arrivati i panini ci siamo resi conto che il tavolo era pieno di moscerini e mia figlia ha detto anche nel panino ci sono e anche nei bicchieri, abbiamo fatto presente però ci è stato detto che non gli era mai capitato ma se ha visto proprio lui che era così, comunque ci ha messo dentro ma ci ha ridato gli stessi panini e le stesse bevande, ad un certo punto mia figlia ha proprio detto io non mangio e bevo queste cose con i moscerini e il signore ha cambiato solo il suo noi abbiamo dovuto lasciare quelle cose solo mio marito che aveva salvato il suo panino dai moscerini la mangiato, in conclusione abbiamo pagato 4 panini, 2 birre e 3 coca cola, solo un panino non ci ha fatto pagare, delusione totale se prima mettevo un punteggio da 5 adesso non ci vado più.

I would not have imagined a situation like this.. in a positive sense. Excellent setting, excellent food offered. Kindness of the staff. Due to space and time constraints I only take a roast chicken and a skewer.... high quality... juicy and soft.. if I lived there I would order Sunday lunch. I recommend it.
