16/03/2026: I went for dinner with six friends on February 28, 2026. We had a main appetizer, followed by tagliatelle spazzacamino and stringozzi with truffle, with grilled vegetables in the center. The place was nice and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

23/09/2025: A cozy, modern restaurant with delicious dishes and wines (including, of course, Montefalco Sagrantino); all at reasonable prices. Excellent, friendly service. The restaurant belongs to the hotel, which is situated in a beautiful garden with a small river flowing through it. Local jams, wine, and olive oil are also available for sale.

07/12/2025: We made a reservation for dinner, and even though we arrived late, the handyman didn't make a fuss. The food was very good, but, with no table staff, the service was lacking. Despite this, the owner was almost willing to make up for certain shortcomings.
05/12/2025: Appetizers with home-made flavors, I rediscovered flavors from when my grandmother grew black cabbage in the garden, beans with pork rinds, tripe, stuffed courgette flowers, liver pâté and so on and so forth, first courses for the children... handmade tagliatelle and gnocco, and finally roast suckling pig with mashed potatoes, a glass of wine, water, cover charge, coffee at a more than fair price!!!!!!

23/12/2025: A place immersed in nature, just a few kilometers from Gubbio. The traditional menu is rich and delicious. The staff is truly friendly. The downstairs dining room is welcoming, and the fireplace added a charming touch to the experience. There were 12 of us at the table, and everyone was satisfied. Recommended.

04/04/2026: We stopped for a quick lunch and ordered the 13 euro menu. I'd say it was plentiful and good... the staff were welcoming and super friendly... a rarity... congratulations!
14/03/2026: We only visited the restaurant as passing tourists, two couples, and ordered the tourist menu. The price was excellent, and the food was very tasty and well-portioned. The kitchen was spotless, and the restrooms were well-maintained. The young people at the tables were extremely courteous, extremely polite, and attentive. The owner's daughter, who is also a talented chef, was friendly and empathetic at the counter. Perfectly family-run, highly recommended. Reservations are recommended due to the large number of guests.

05/01/2026: This place was recommended to us by a friend from Spoleto, and I have to say, he couldn't have given us a better recommendation.
The place is in the countryside and seems almost difficult to find, but once you enter, you immediately feel welcomed and pampered by the staff with great professionalism and courtesy.
The food is excellent, traditional but with a slight twist, and not at all banal.
Prices are in line with the quality of the food and the service.
I definitely recommend it!

The precise, friendly and very prepared staff Francesca always at the top .. Excellent wine cellar ... What can I say, we return and we return ... As I did and I will do again .. 👍

23/11/2025: We came here for two pizzas, as the pizzeria is highly visible from the street and, from the outside, looks nice. The interior has a lovely Anglo-Saxon style, but the owner's Italian passion for football is clearly evident. This one suited me very well, and I noticed that the owner himself patiently tolerated the jokes of a jealous fan who spoke about the short stature of his already doomed and downgraded team.
The pizza is highly praised both by locals and by Google reviews, but we have Neapolitan tastes and didn't appreciate it at all, just as we've never appreciated the round pizzas we've eaten in Umbria, so my alien voice doesn't really matter.

Good location for traveling
Beautiful rustic-style property located on a hill
Excellent for relaxation, silence, and peace
Strengths include the cleanliness and attention to detail in the property and rooms, and the professionalism and courtesy of everyone at the property, from the receptionist to the breakfast lady.
Trilli, the dog, is also lovely: sweet and cuddly.
And a bonus for the Tipico restaurant attached to the property, a real treat.
I definitely recommend spending a few days at Valle Rosa!

03/11/2025: Beautiful place on the shores of Lake Trasimeno....what can I say? The service and staff were perfect in every way. The meal was excellent and plentiful. The pizza was very good. The bill was also fair and more than reasonable. I highly recommend trying it to believe it. If I ever pass through the area again, I'll definitely stop by again.

08/03/2026: I had 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts. The starters and main courses were very good, well-balanced, and with perfectly adequate portions. The desserts could be improved, in my opinion. They were good, but I don't know if they could be improved given the quality of the starters and main courses. The price was reasonable, except for the slightly pricey desserts. The staff was discreet and helpful.

05/01/2026: The Italian Truffle Experience! You shouldn’t miss it if you’re a truffle lover!
Since both the menu and truffle varieties are seasonal, it’s a wonderful place to dine year-round.
That said, in my humble opinion, the best time to visit is from mid to late December, when you can enjoy exceptional dishes featuring White Truffle and Pregiato Black Truffle.
30/11/2025: My wife, our dog, and I had dinner at this beautiful property on a weekend in November. The welcome was warm and homey, yet with attention to detail. The staff took turns during the tasting, demonstrating great knowledge and professionalism. We truly had a pleasant evening, and they shared stories and helped us discover the various regions of Umbria through the food and wines, both carefully selected and paired with passion. Thank you.
