Excellent food, excellent service, simple and familiar atmosphere, third year always here!

Simple and truly excellent dishes at affordable prices, I really enjoyed the tagliolini with ragu and the sausages with baked potatoes, for around 20 euros per person you can easily have a first course, second course, side dish, water and cover charge included, I recommend booking in advance especially for Sunday lunch, it fills up very quickly.

The grilled beef steak was plentiful, tasty, and reasonably priced. The tourist option is tempting, so we decided to try it, but we don't recommend it because, in our case, the quality is directly proportional to the price. However, if you order a regular single dish, outside of the special offer, it's a complete change, and you can taste the quality, and the price is fair. So, we'll be back, ordering only the à la carte dishes; they're definitely better and you can see they're prepared with care. ❣️ More staff to manage the influx of people would be nice, but overall, they're quick and friendly. I recommend it, I'd go back.

I had lunch at Ristorante Tipico during a visit to Cascia, and I must say it was a pleasant discovery. As soon as I entered, I found a familiar and welcoming atmosphere, with the staff immediately helpful and friendly. I felt at home from the first moment. I chose some typical Umbrian dishes and was truly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the authentic flavors. The homemade pasta was exceptional, especially the truffle-filled pasta dishes, which were plentiful and very tasty. The appetizers, featuring local cured meats and cheeses, were also excellent. The local tradition and the care taken in preparing the dishes are clearly evident. Many customers also appreciate the value for money and the simple yet authentic atmosphere. The service was prompt and always smiling, without being intrusive. I also really appreciated the tranquility of the place and the convivial atmosphere. At the end of the meal, they even offered me a house liqueur, a simple but very welcome gesture. If you find yourself in Cascia and want to eat well-prepared traditional Umbrian cuisine, this restaurant is definitely a recommended stop. I would gladly return.

A well-deserved 5 stars! The restaurant is small but the food is truly delicious, and the prices are super affordable, with the tourist package starting from €18 or the à la carte menu (super affordable considering the quality). A highly recommended experience!

It was a very cold evening after visiting the Sanctuary. The very kind staff greeted us right outside the door with great courtesy. The wait and advice were perfect, the food was excellent and plentiful. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
