14/02/2026: The restaurant is tucked away, but easy to find. It's charming and has been expertly renovated to preserve its ancient features. The welcome and service were excellent, fast and friendly. From appetizers to desserts, everything was top-notch. They even let us try the extra virgin olive oil from the Il Melograno farm on our bread—a truly excellent start! I absolutely have to highlight the excellent grilled chicken, the baked potatoes, and the baked onions. Everything was cooked to perfection and had an unforgettable flavor. High-quality ingredients! The desserts are excellent. And to finish on a high note, the house amaro, kindly offered by the owner. It's not at all touristy, which was my fear. RECOMMENDED!!

18/12/2025: For Koreans who haven't visited Italy before, this is a restaurant catering to locals, not tourists. It's located up the stairs in an alley near a square with a fountain. The only downside is that the stairs might be a bit difficult for those with mobility issues. I'm not sure if my husband is Italian, so I'm used to salty food, but I've seen some reviews complaining about the saltiness, but for me, it wasn't salty at all and was delicious. This was the best salad I've had throughout my travels in Italy, and the meats were, without a doubt, delicious. The price is incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food, the space is spacious and clean, and the service is excellent. This is a must-visit restaurant when you're in Assisi. Be sure to try the salad. It's fresh, and you can mix it up with a little salt, pepper, olive oil, and Venegal sauce. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, I've attached a photo so you can see what I mean. I had the mixed pork steak, and my husband had the beef steak, and both were excellent. The quality is top-notch. In Italy, they usually offer coffee after you're finished eating at a restaurant. Restaurant coffees tend to be lackluster, but this one was truly delicious. Adding the sugar that comes with your espresso makes it a perfect after-dinner treat. You can pay for your meal by standing up and approaching the waiter. The total bill came to around 71 euros, which is a good value for the quality.

11/12/2025: Adjacent to the fabulous property, expertly renovated, elegantly, and refinedly. The atmosphere is charming and relaxing. The rooms are spotless and the attention to detail is remarkable. You can immediately tell that both the property and the restaurant are run by people who strive to offer excellent service every day. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, prompt, and attentive to our every need. Their commitment to enhancing the property and the restaurant's top-notch offerings helped make our stay enchanting. We will definitely be back! We are grateful for welcoming and pampering us so much. See you soon!

08/12/2025: The food was good. We were treated well, but we witnessed a horrific scene befall our neighbors. We were served by the employees, who were all very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the owner, who served the couple at the next table. A truly rude attitude that ruined our experience. Perhaps the owner would be better off in the kitchen or at the cash register, taking care of the numbers if she can't handle crowds.

22/01/2026: An extremely peaceful place with friendly and fast staff. Mr. Umbro is truly kind and helpful. Every time I'm in the area, I eat there. They serve a delicious buffet of vegetables, appetizers, and more. For the meal, you have a wide selection, and everything is very good.

04/12/2025: Stop in Perugia: a delightful discovery! We stopped at this restaurant almost by chance on a return trip from Tuscany, looking for a welcoming place for lunch in Perugia. It turned out to be an excellent choice and provided us with a truly memorable experience. 🍽️ Top-Notch Food and Hospitality The quality of the food was excellent, with carefully prepared dishes and top-quality ingredients. But what really won us over was the courtesy and impeccable welcome. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, especially with our one-and-a-half-year-old son, demonstrating a rare thoughtfulness. Even our littlest one loved his pasta with tomato sauce! ✍️ A Small Helpful Tip The only small comment we feel we need to make concerns the services for younger guests. For us, who were traveling with a baby, the lack of a changing table in the bathroom and high chairs was the only drawback. In my opinion, these small touches would be enough to make the experience perfect, even for families with babies and small children. 💖 In Conclusion Despite this small complaint, we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere, warmth, and overall quality deserve top marks. We will definitely return next time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat well and feel at home.

02/12/2025: We had lunch there, drawn by the word "bottega" (shop), but it was closer to an osteria, but it didn't have bulk wine. A good platter of cured meats, which I would have paired with some cheeses.

04/01/2026: An extraordinary surprise. We stumbled upon it by chance after searching on Maps and quickly booked, and were lucky enough to get the last available table. The atmosphere was authentic, the menu original yet traditional, the dishes exquisite, and the bill reasonable. I highly recommend this place. We'll be back in the warmer months to enjoy the view under the pergola. Thank you!

14/03/2026: A typical Umbrian restaurant located in the center of Foligno. We had a delicious meal, and the wild boar pappardelle was spectacular. Reservations are recommended to secure a table, as the restaurant is quite small and seats are limited.

12/10/2025: I went there with my wife. Excellent pizza and excellent service, even when the place was full (Saturday night). The vegetarian selection is also decent (we're in Umbria, after all). Recommended if you're in the center of Todi.
