We went to Testone in Città di Castello. Beautiful place, welcoming and super helpful staff. You get the right price and the food is delicious! Highly recommended.

We had lunch on a Sunday in April on our way back from Città di Castello. Outdoor seating, fast and friendly service. Torta al testo in every way, and menus to suit all tastes. Tasty and plentiful dishes, fair prices.

30/07/2026: Excellent dinner; I tried the guinea fowl salad and it was delicious (an excellent fresh summer dish). The price was fair, and water was included in the cover charge, which isn't a given these days.
10/05/2026: Very nice place, friendly and attentive staff, traditional dishes revisited. The price/quality ratio is in line. We tried the goat cheese-filled baciresti with pea cream, and the very balanced strangozzi with dogfish ragù. The fried chicken was well done, but I wasn't entirely sold on the flavor. Still, worth a try.
