The owner kindly took the time to explain each dish, which made the experience even more special. Dining in a thousand-year-old cave created a truly unique and memorable atmosphere. 12/04/2026: We spent a week in Perugia and during that time we visited Gatto Nero 3 times for dinner. Parking is at a premium but this restaurant has a wonderful friendly ambience. None of our meal choices let us down and the staff were super helpful. It’s part of the Italy we love.
