05/08/2025: Staff was very kind (despite my terrible command of the Italian language 🤣). The food was much more affordable than in the city center and we personally enjoyed it more. It reminded me of my mother's old school Italian cooking.

08/08/2024: Wir besuchen das Restaurant Brünnl jedes Jahr, wenn wir im Südtirol im Urlaub sind. Konstant gastfreundlich und qualitativ gutes Essen. Toller Spielplatz und wunderbares Panorama.

04/02/2024: Al termine di una piacevole camminata lungo il sentiero panoramico, abbiamo pranzato presso questo locale che si trova a circa metà della Valle di Casies, lungo la strada principale che porta a Santa Maddalena. Piacevole la sala interna in cui ci siamo sistemati, abbastanza ampia la scelta delle pietanze, tutte preparate e servite con cura, porzioni oltretutto ottime. Noi abbiamo preso due primi piatti, le tagliatelle al ragù di selvaggina e canederli, nonché due super dessert, un affogato con gelato di vaniglia e una mousse di castagne. Da annotare per future soste! Complimenti

01/11/2023: Abbiamo trascorso due giorni in val Casies ospiti di questo meraviglioso hotel. Che dire....un difetto non lo abbiamo trovato! Struttura piccola, accogliente, camera con vista, calda e pulitissima, con sauna personale che è veramente una sciccheria! Personale gentile e simpatico, cordiale senza essere invadente. Cucina molto buona, curata, tradizioni conservate con qualche giusta innovazione! Punteggio? 10 e lode meritatissimo!!

22/04/2026: The food is decent, and the price-performance ratio is good. However, nothing has changed in the courtyard on the way to the restrooms since last time: The condition there is terrible, completely littered with rubbish, and the doors to the restrooms require a high tolerance for discomfort from guests. We won't be returning there for the time being.

14/10/2025: This morning I stopped at Bistro 184 for breakfast, drawn by the refined and tranquil atmosphere. I ordered a Nutella-filled croissant and a coffee, and I must say it was a great start to the day. The croissant was fresh, fragrant, with the Nutella just warm—a perfect combination of aroma and sweetness. The coffee was well-made, served with courtesy and a smile, which never hurts. I also liked the atmosphere: clean, bright, with discreet background music and well-spaced tables. The atmosphere is calm, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a place I would gladly return to for a quiet breakfast or to start the day with a bit of flavor and serenity.

30/07/2025: Super! I like the way the staff or the owner treat us very best. Not like other typical italian staff. The atmosphere also so cute! Sitting outside and enjoying yourself far from city centre.

27/08/2024: Hidden gem - anders als in vielen Brixner Restaurants, wo man dicht gedrängt sitzt, bietet der Innenhof eine ruhige und intime Atmosphäre. Wein & Speisen haben ebenso überzeugt.

04/06/2025: Die von uns bestellten Speisen waren mittelmäßig. Die Pizza kam circa 15 Minuten vor dem Fritteuse Schnitzel. Auch auf Nachfragen, wurde da keine Abhilfe geschaffen. Bei der zweiten Nachfrage wurde der Kellner frech und wechselte von Deutsch in Italienisch. Pech, dass wir auch zweisprachig sind. Wein wurde auf den Tisch geknallt, eingeschenkt haben wir selber. Ebenso einen guten Appetit gewünscht. Ich habe noch nie einen so schlechten Service erlebt, es ist mir zu müßig, es hier weiter zu beschreiben. Es versteht sich von selber, dass auch die Rechnung unstimmig war und wir nicht verabschiedet wurden. Die Kartenzahlung haben wir beim Koch persönlich vorgenommen und das Thema dort angesprochen. Er hat nur mit den Achseln gezockt. Der Laden ist nicht umsonst so schlecht besucht.

05/12/2024: Di passaggio a mezzogiorno ci siamo fermati presso questo locale. Abbiamo ordinato una Wienerschnitzel, Speckeier, vino, acqua, caffè. Tutto buono secondo le ricette tradizionali tirolesi. Servizio cortese e preciso. Location piacevole, datata nei servizi e storica (eravamo nella saletta interna con stube). Purtroppo non c'era il riscaldamento e abbiamo mangiato con il cappotto (non è il massimo in inverno). Prezzi in rialzo rispetto a qualche tempo fa. Parcheggio comodo attaccato al Gasthof. Se passate di qui sosta piacevole.

03/10/2024: Wir hatten ein Zimmer reserviert, kamen um 15.00 an und haben erstmal etwas gegessen, bevor wir einchecken wollten. Das wurde offensichtlich als Sakrileg gesehen:" das gehört sich nicht !" Unsere Rückfragen warum und wieso wurden nicht beantwortet stattdessen wurde uns ein Storno vorgeschlagen, das wir gerne annahmen.
