07/08/2024: Very happy we decided to go to this local restaurant our last nice in Florence! Great food, service, happy local atmosphere with outdoor seating in the shade! 10/10 pizza and chicken salad!

31/07/2024: A quick little place, in a really nice square. Ideal pre-concert, theatre, pleasant... they don't make gluten-free pizza, but in the end even a celiac like me can feed herself! 😉

24/08/2024: Booked 2 days in advance....table arrived not ready....took order and waited about an hour and a half. .. served tables before us and still waiting to eat!!!! I absolutely do not recommend!!!!!!!!

08/08/2024: I returned to this sushi restaurant after a long time and was extremely disappointed. Everything has changed for the worse. First, there are too many restrictions in ordering: the portions are very small and after ordering 15 items, you have to wait 7 minutes. Unfortunately, it wasn't 7 minutes at all; I had to get up and look for the waitress after 20 minutes of waiting because we couldn't order anything anymore. Many dishes were poorly cooked and the fish tasted as if it had expired. Also, they no longer offer black rice, another big disappointment. With all the other sushi restaurants available, one would expect this one to update and offer the same opportunities and promotions, but that is not the case. The wasabi was fake, in a tube, and not spicy at all; It felt like eating plastic. I could go on all day describing all the flaws. It's a shame, because the environment is nice, but the rest is one star, including the service. Not recommended.

27/08/2024: Typically Florentine trattoria in one of the most characteristic neighborhoods of the city. Guys, if you want to eat well, at Trattoria dell'Orto you are safe and with excellent service.

27/08/2024: Large and well-lit room. Especially the second room beyond the kitchen. Decent food, nothing transcendental, but given the location, the price and everything, more than enough! Precise service, perhaps not very empathetic… Very honest account!

03/08/2024: The food wasn't bad but it wasn't good either, the burgers seemed to be frozen ones and the bread wasn't homemade either. Maybe it's a better place to sit and have a drink and a bite to eat. We ordered a drink that never arrived, in the end we paid and left, luckily they didn't charge for it.

02/08/2024: Fantastic Irish pub. Great atmosphere and choice of imported ales, stouts and lagers. Cocktails too, including an Irish espresso martini. Location superb. Highly recommend!!

13/08/2024: Very good risotto, spaghetti, fried food and desserts, characteristic restaurant with excellent management of spaces and furnishings. Friendly and professional staff.

05/08/2024: I've been going to this pastry bar for years and every time I leave satisfied. The coffees of the baristas Federico and Dana are delicious. The sweet and savory pastas of Maestro Christian Casamassimi are a delight for the palate. I will take up residence in this bar :) Highly recommended

07/08/2024: Pretty sizeable market selling a variety of foods, and a decent food court on the top floor. Wanted to visit again but it closes quite early so we didn’t make it. Perfect for buying food souvenirs home for tourists as they sold lots of packaged snacks/pasta.

30/07/2024: Me and my friend came when they already closed kitchen but they were very happy to serve us some food anyways. I know ice in wine is crime in Italy but no one was mad about me adding some into my wine, because I’m the one who is going to drink it. Very nice food and lovely people!

13/08/2024: We loved everything, the food, the friendliness of Dona Anna, she is really lovely, food made with love and very tasty. In the 5 days we stayed in Florence, we went there for dinner every day.

16/08/2024: Friendly and professional waiters. Fresh and good food. Lots of seating. Clean place. It offers many dishes and a vast choice of wines.

12/08/2024: The interior is beautiful, furnished with care and elegance especially in the equipment, but.... I choose to dine in this restaurant on a Monday evening and I can say good and abundant dishes and in some you can see that there is elaboration and revisitation, but as regards the service, we are not there. During the two hours at dinner we had to request I don't know how many times for the drink and the bread before it was brought back to us, having to finish the appetizer with the cured meats without a slice of bread given the time that had passed since the request for both the bread and the cheese for the first course , in the second part of the dinner the chosen side dish didn't even arrive and I therefore had to finish the dish without the accompaniment I would have liked which I honestly thought would arrive even if it was late given the foresight in repeating the choices made when ordering to the waitress, but this was not the case. In short, the expectations were high but the reality was very different, despite the goodness of the dishes, the attention towards the customer was very little and due to the presentation of the place at the beginning one expected a very very different service, much more personal and attentive which it absolutely isn't

18/08/2024: I was last night in this very touristy and not very characteristic place. The outside terrace with the tables is very nice, it's a shame that they caged us inside in the dark, with the waiters passing by every two farts and the food arriving cold. At this point I thought that dinner was free but I also had to pay for it. Furthermore, you can't help but notice the stench of farts from the waiters and the bathroom walls with artistic paint scrapes. I'm sorry because I wanted to enjoy a nice, cute evening with my little friend.

18/08/2024: Very nice environment in the middle of the pizza, beautiful view, super friendly staff! We got a 1.2kg Florentine steak for two, which was too good! The tartare was also very good but the garnish of the dish was a bit poor. Excellent wines I recommend!

23/08/2024: Well I only ever order one dish every time I return when I’m in town - but if that’s indicative of what else they do -& why not?- & so far I’ve been utterly delighted. Yesterday was no exception. I always have their Crespella Fiorentina, a glass of good red & of course.. water ! This dish is no longer‘fashionable’ on menus just about anywhere in Italy.. but when the creamed spinach-filled crepe is light & tender, with the cheese sauce not too cheesy nor too sharp … like many simple dishes it’s the sum of parts, & utterly cooked to perfection - fine quality & handled sensitively…. Here the chef has nailed it ! Bravo ! Friendly & welcoming- it’s definitely recommended!
