24/07/2024: Fabrizio and his mother, as well as the whole family, offer a warm and very friendly welcome. They are truly dedicated to the quality of your stay. The place is beautiful, very quiet and the rooms are spacious. The place is accessible by train and bus. Even when the restaurant is closed, options are within walking distance. I recommend without reservation!

Nice place but really crowded on a Saturday night and the waiters were unable to serve all the tables adequately.
We waited a long time for all the courses.

06/08/2024: I went for lunch today. I ate an excellent mussel 'mpepata' and some tagliolini with clams done really well. Excellent service, our very kind waitress! I'm already thinking about when to go back... I highly recommend it!

26/07/2024: excellent ice cream, whoever makes it is of Sicilian origins...... a guarantee, kind and helpful they have a small outdoor area to taste the ice cream in front of the small but functional shop, in summer the particular climate of Impruneta above in the valleys it is always windy, and it is a relief from the heat of the plains.
18/07/2024: The owner (older British lady) made it abundantly clear she dislikes Americans…in front of my children. Very rude. And unfortunate because the Italians have been incredibly friendly. Maybe a British thing?
*it was a not a misunderstanding. My child asked for marshmallow, you said “this isn’t america”, to which i said “thats funny we saw it all over florence” and you said while acting surprised “ really?!? i would never make that flavor” and then i agreed (to be polite) it was a funny flavor but kids love it.

13/07/2024: Eenvoudig lokaal restaurant op een klein marktpleintje in Vico d'Elsa. Tijdens de zomer eet je buiten op het pleintje. Je zit er tussen de toeristen van de lokale B&B's en de locals. Toffe bediening en lekker eten voor een spotprijs.
We zijn tweemaal geweest tijdens ons verblijf, moet er nog commentaar?

04/09/2024: Piccola pizzeria a taglio che produce anche pane! :)
La pizza a taglio che fanno è fine (alla toscana) e condita con vari gusti, hanno davvero tanta varietà nel loro menù! Inoltre, fanno anche pizza alla pala.
Il personale è sempre molto cortese e sorridente, e i prezzi sono assolutamente in linea con la concorrenza.
Continuate cosi! :)

25/08/2024: Poor quality food, in the trio of first courses the tagliatelle mushrooms were rubbery and full of water. The embarrassing fresh pasta, overcooked and poorly seasoned.

12/08/2024: Business dinner, good meat and potatoes, crostini as well, we ate 1 Tuscan crostini to divide into 2 a steak from which we obtained 2 medium cuts 1 baked potato 1 quarter of Chianti 1 liter of water and 1 mascarpone 2 coffees €110 slightly expensive in my opinion
