Our second time in the region and we had to return. Fabulous Tuscan dinner, wonderful hosts, a true gem of a place.

Had a lovely evening at Osteria La Gramola overall. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a really warm atmosphere, and the drinks were all very reasonably priced. My friends ordered pasta and steaks which looked absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering the “fried chicken and potatoes”. I was expecting something quite different, but what arrived was essentially dry chicken nuggets and chips, which was disappointing. The menu description was quite unclear and the staff did not explain the dish either, so I do think that could be improved. That said, dessert definitely made up for it. The crème brûlée was lovely, and I also tried the cheesecake which was honestly the standout item of the night, easily one of the best cheesecakes I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend ordering that if you visit. Overall, a decent spot with a great atmosphere and some really good dishes, even if my main course missed the mark a bit.

The food is excellent. The tagliata is highly recommended.

Excellent Osteria! We were lucky enough to try the tempura baby garlic shoots, available 15 days a year. The artichokes, tagliata with balsamic vinegar, and beef with zucchini were equally delicious. If you're passing through Tavarnelle, don't hesitate to try it!
