12/05/2025: I have been to this restaurant several times with my family and my mother in a wheelchair. Everyone has always been kind and super hospitable, like being at home! Not to mention the food, genuine and always delicious! Super recommended! We will see each other soon!

25/06/2025: We had a summer lunch here and everything was great. Nice service, great wine & food. I had pici with a spinach pesto & vegetables and my husband got cod fish. We were here with a dog and our baby and they were extremely accommodating. Fair prices.

17/06/2025: A pizza that made me say "wow" at the first bite, a fantastic dough that is delicious even on the edge where there is no topping. In addition to the classic pizzas, there are some really interesting and special pizzas on the menu: I personally took the pizza with yellow cherry tomato puree, dried tomatoes, anchovies and burrata: delicious. I also took a look at the restaurant proposals and I think those are also worth it. Super kind and friendly staff. Thank you

09/06/2025: It was a bit chilly this rainy evening of April 17, 2025. When I entered the pizzeria I thought I would find a wood-fired oven that would heat the room, but there was no oven in sight. And no heat. The Bastian Contrario Ristorante Pizzeria restaurant in Pontassieve. I must say that it was a fairly positive experience. The place is welcoming, well-kept and with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is kind, helpful and always smiling. We ordered a pizza called flauto, which however disappointed me. It wasn't cooked enough, I could feel the raw dough. However, underneath it was burnt. fresh and quality ingredients. But inside there was raw leek with the green parts that crunched under my teeth and I couldn't chew. After dinner I had this terrible leek taste in my mouth. The homemade desserts were excellent. Honest prices and generous portions. If we go back, I will avoid pizza.

04/06/2025: A wonderful restaurant with great charm. The service was excellent, we started with a glass of Prosecco, and the food was incredibly delicious and definitely worth the price. I highly recommend going here if you're in the area. You rarely find such good food.

Service could be questioned (lack of cutlery and waiter who leaves us the plates saying "you do it") The pizzas were nothing special, above all they were very heavy, plus there was a mistake in the toppings between 2 pizzas at our table, and their solution was to put the toppings of one pizza on the other, obviously returning cold to the table. Normally I wouldn't even have anything to say about it, but if yet another pizzeria does it and gives you very high prices because it has to pretend to be "Gourmet", it's very funny. In the end they are pizzerias like there have always been, only the packaging changes to justify the high prices
