05/10/2025: Everything is fine, the only thing to improve is the soap and shampoo dispensers, they work poorly and the product they dispense should be of better quality according to the hotel.

07/08/2025: This hotel is 25 minutes from the Duomo, but very closed to the theatre and the tramway, so depends on where you want to go. They do bot have their own parking, and outsource their parking, which needs 1 hour notice in advance. Rooms are okay, but their mattress is stiff and you can feel the spring, and they don't have thinner pillows. It's not comfortable for sleep. And they are not very eco-friendly, they don't recycle in rooms and the air conditioning doesn't turn off when you open the windows, electricity doesn't get cut off when you exit.

05/10/2025: A great find in the heart of Florence. I highly recommend it. Beautiful and relaxing location. Marta is very helpful and courteous. I appreciated the home-cooked food and the presentation.

04/10/2025: We had dinner on Friday, October 3rd and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and passion that goes into every dish, as well as the kindness and courtesy of Mrs. Marta, a true Florentine like her husband, who is the creator of all these delicious dishes. The place is truly charming and tastefully decorated, and rightly so, it needs a caretaker to protect it, so who better than the wonderful Ken? Well done, keep it up, good luck 🤞🍀

06/10/2025: A fabulous Sunday lunch. The mixed crostini and flan were truly delicious, the fillet with porcini mushrooms and the stuffed chicken were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. Truly excellent. TOP wine, Coiano DOCG. We'll be back.

20/09/2025: The food is excellent, but although the waiter was friendly, we ordered an appetizer that arrived with the main courses, and an ice cream that was first forgotten and then took too long to arrive. Maybe they need more staff. Also, the drinks are quite expensive.

20/10/2025: An appetizer neither good nor bad, with an atypical Tuscan crostini and good cold cuts. The pizza 🍕 has a quality dough. It's unknown whether Tonarelli has ever been there with Puma, Bindone, and Meandrus.

12/10/2025: A pleasant surprise! Excellent food, a variety of dishes, fish, meat, sandwiches, and pizza. The beef stew is exquisite! A special mention for the young woman who looked after us throughout the evening. It's a shame we didn't ask her name! Kind, friendly, professional, and sweet, which never hurts. A restaurant where you immediately sense the care and attention they give to their customers. I'll be back.

29/08/2025: Unfortunately, we weren't offered the lunch menu like the locals at the restaurant. That has something to do with exclusion or being pulled over. Sorry.

26/08/2025: Just had dinner at Riatorante Alfredo with my wife. We were passing by and it looked enticing. My wife ordered a pasta with mushrooms. I ordered cheese filled ravioli with tomatoes and buratta. We each ordered an insalata mista. I had a large draft beer. My wife a glass of chianti. Everything was delicious! The people couldn't be any nicer. A small family run establishment with great food and service. Who could ask for more.

06/07/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante con mia moglie per una cena senza glutine davvero speciale. Menu molto molto interessante e raffinato. Ambiente curato e personale gentilissimo rendono la cena una esperienza molto piacevole. Piatti ricercati e gustosi a dimostrazione che si può fare ristorazione senza glutine senza rinunciare al gusto. Punto di riferimento.

11/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la comunione di nostra figlia a cena in questo ristorante da 10 e lode! Atmosfera intima con tutte le accortezze da parte del personale (preparatissimo)! Antipasti, straccetti al ragout bianco del casentino e filetto di cinta senese da sogno, sapori equilibrati ma allo stesso tempo intensi dell' alta qualità delle materie prime. Abbiamo optato per la torta preparata dalla Chef e che ha montato mentre mangiavamo il secondo piatto...non si poteva fare scelta migliore, è stata davvero la ciliegina che ha fatto concludere una cena degna di nota. Hanno particolare attenzione alle intolleranze, chi ne ha può stare tranquillo, mangia con gli stessi tempi degli altri invitati e, a detta dell' interessato, la qualità è stata notevole! Unico consiglio che mi sento di dare... Continuate così!!

05/10/2025: If you are vegetarian — strictly vegetarian — please don’t risk this place. I was served fish on my pizza even after mentioning at least 10 times that I am vegetarian. When I pointed it out, the staff had the audacity to ask me, “Can’t you read?” Honestly, he also said - let’s say the mistake was 50-50, but how??? the rudeness was 100% on them. The people were as rude as it gets — except for the chef in the kitchen, who was at least a bit understanding, though he didn’t really help either. How can simply taking the pizza off the bill make up for such an experience? My whole life, I have never eaten fish, and yet they served it to me. My mother even ended up with vomiting and diarrhea afterward. It is exactly like you feeding pork to a Muslim ams asking sorry. Our religion doesn’t allow fish! Meat!! The reason we got more upset was because the staff said, “It’s not my mistake, it’s 50-50 responsibility.” Seriously? We spoke excellent English and so did the waiter!! I clearly told the waiter at least ten times, “Please make it without fish, meat, or egg.” And yet, the owner still had the audacity to defend this in their response! Not at all recommended. Think twice before going — better to choose another place than be sorry later.

23/09/2025: This is a good place where reservations are essential. Keep this in mind if you're booking for lunch or dinner, as you can't transfer between meals. Luckily, we were allowed to stay, even though we weren't told about it when we booked. The food is excellent, in its own style, a bit gourmet, but definitely worth a try. My husband and I were disappointed with the service. Only towards the end of the evening did the waiters warm up to us; before that, they were dismissive, to put it mildly. This place is strictly touristy, so this attitude surprised us. The view from there is simply beautiful, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

09/10/2025: Dinner with friends. Good food and friendly service. Very tasty mushroom steak and lamb. Excellent fondue tart. The historic Saltino setting.

05/10/2025: Unprecedented efficiency! As soon as we arrived, we ordered, and within 10 minutes, we had our pizza. We were in a hurry because we had a long way to go. Very kind and friendly, and the pizza was delicious.

26/08/2025: The pizza was so-so, but the traditional menu and desserts were delicious, especially the fried food. Compliments to the staff, who were all extremely kind. To entertain my little girl, the pizza chefs even gave her a pizza ball to shape and then cooked it.

13/08/2025: The first question that might arise is: how about the fish in Borgo San Lorenzo? Yes, sir, and I must say it's better than many in seaside towns. The fish is excellent, fresh, and the prices are reasonable. The sea bass ravioli is fantastic.

29/09/2025: I love Peruvian food, but I never thought it would be in Italy! It was my first time seeing a Peruvian restaurant in Italy, so I popped in! It's run by Peruvians, so the flavors were authentic and delicious, but the portions were so big I ended up leaving some, which was a shame. 🥲 I ordered the classic ceviche and anticuchos, and they were delicious and satisfying! ❣️

20/09/2025: I'll start by saying that the 3 stars given to the food are due to the fried food, and ONLY for the fried food, and nothing else. In fact, I gave it 4 stars overall. The place is tiny, right on Viale dei Mille with a small outdoor terrace. Make a reservation because they seat about 35-40 people maximum. We were outside; I had requested this when booking (I have a puppy, and it seemed more practical to sit outside). I was worried about the noise from the avenue, but to be honest, it was less of a problem than expected. There were two young waiters who were very kind and professional, especially the young man who served us. The menu has a few à la carte dishes (and that's fine, it guarantees fresh, carefully prepared products) and a good selection of catch of the day or specials of the day. That evening, there were several fish per kilo, cooked in various ways, and two express dishes, an appetizer and a first course. We ordered two à la carte first courses: spaghetti allo scoglio (seafood spaghetti) and linguine with crab, scampi, and shrimp (I don't remember the name of the dish). Both were very good, but my only complaint is practical. The crab, placed in half on the plate, even if divided between the shell and claws, takes quite a while to be properly enjoyed. Meanwhile, the pasta gets cold and overcooked, which is a mortal sin. Perhaps it would be worth serving the crab already cleaned, with only the claw to be split, to still create a show. Nothing to complain about the ingredients, excellent and perfectly cooked. MY problem comes with the fried calamari, shrimp, and cod. The calamari were cut into strips, not rings. The strips were rather dull, neither crispy nor attractive; tender, yes, but tasty. There are many ways to fry, everyone has their own, but generally you expect something crispy and tasty, lightly seared, those strips were not. The shrimp was shelled, and I don't like that either. You expose the heart of the crustacean to the extreme heat of the oil, while using the shell instead protects it, another questionable choice in my opinion. The flavor was good, but the texture was bordering on overcooked. The cod was cod; I don't know why it would be included in a mixed fry. Kudos to the homemade mayonnaise, but it was perfectly fine for a snack, since we're not at a fish and chips place. It was a bit disappointing, that's all. I was expecting something else. Ultimately, based on what I ate, I CAN'T SAY THE FOOD WAS BAD, ON THE CONTRARY. Maybe I'm just being a pain in the ass, but fried fish is something that deserves serious consideration, and I enjoyed it just fine. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. The overall 4 stars are precisely because we had a good time overall. We left feeling full and with a little extra cash left in our wallets, which doesn't hurt.

15/09/2025: Family-run seafood restaurant, managed with care and professionalism down to the smallest detail. I come often and have never been disappointed! I recommend the tagliolini with red shrimp or lobster, my absolute favorites. Excellent restaurant near Florence.

03/10/2025: We ate at this excellent pizzeria yesterday for lunch in Rifredi. Food: exquisite pizza. True Neapolitan pizza: a high, thin crust in the center, what they often call Verace in Tuscany. We tried the "4 tomatoes with 4 cheeses": an absolute masterpiece. The focaccia with Nutella was also excellent. There's also the "pinsa" version, which we didn't try, though. Service: excellent. Kindness and expertise. The person eating with me requested a slightly unusual change to his pizza, and they were very accommodating. Friendliness and smiles, which are rare these days. Ambience: considering that the pizzeria's core business is delivery and takeout, the atmosphere is perfect as it is. I also want to highlight the convenience of having a pizzeria open for lunch where you can order your pizza, a time when you can only find pizza by the slice. I recommend it!
