11/06/2024: Got here at 10 on a Friday, looking for a quick brekkie. Yes, we were eating tripe sandwiches for brekkie. When in Florence right? Everything was just freshly made. Seems as though they were just opening. The tripe was ready, so we ordered one of those, and we wanted to try the tongue, which JUST finished cooking. It was freshly sliced for our panini. Both were good but I preferred the tripe. The tongue needed more flavor. Perhaps some more salt, or some more of the red/green sauce? I do really like the shop in Central Market but if you’re at Sant’Ambrogio, this is still a good spot for lampredotto.

11/08/2024: Excellent service, for those who want to enjoy a delicious Florentine steak, I recommend it, there are various cuts of all prices. The fresh pasta is good, the wild boar pappardelle is special.

05/08/2024: Had lunch today, found it by chance but a real stroke of luck...beautiful surroundings, excellent service and divine food...in these days of discovering the area, definitely the best place we ate in! Everything excellent and very well looked after. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!! Thank you!

08/08/2024: Everyone, the carbonara is steamed here. It’s petty… . I went there because it was close to my accommodation, and it was a really satisfying meal. The price is very reasonable.. What Briganti does everyone recommend?? It was delicious too hahaha I want to go again! It was the most delicious meal I had during my trip to Italy! The amount is generously generous too ♥

15/08/2024: For us vegans it is a fantastic restaurant. All dishes are delicious. And we go there every time we visit Florence

14/08/2024: I had dinner last night, there were two of us for a starter of chickpea humus, vegan pasta and crispy wafer, good and well paired. First, a vegan carbonara, which could be improved because the pasta was decidedly overcooked and the fake bacon not very tasty, but overall I still liked it. For the second course, a Seitan fillet served with a mushroom sauce, good and the vegetable tempura really well fried. The real surprise was yet to arrive, the Tofu cake with blueberries, I really liked it, the staff was kind and helpful. I can say I am satisfied.

19/08/2024: Osteria with a small shed along the road, we went to eat the Florentine steak but it was nothing exceptional. Let's be clear, the meat was good, but given that the minimum cut is around 2kg, if I spend 98 euros on a steak I expect it to be stellar, in reality it was normal, in Barberino di Mugello I ate better.

17/08/2024: The crostini and cold cuts were spectacular, even the Florentine steak. The only flaw, for me, was the lampredotto (less on salt and not made as a sandwich, my mistake in not having asked), but that's a matter of taste

21/06/2024: A good pastry shop, a shame today that in the afternoon there were no more sheets which I highly recommend as they are larger and more filling than average

I'm not discussing the quality of the product, I'm just saying that the prices are out of the market. Finally, offending a customer in response to a criticism demonstrates the cultural level possessed.

20/06/2024: molto lenti, abbiamo ordinato alle 20:40 e alle 21:50 ancora non c’è il cibo, ci hanno portato il pane secco molto male, ci hanno fatto ordinare prima le bibite e dopo 20 minuti il cibo

01/07/2024: The chocolates are fantastic, they easily beat other high tier chocolate brands with ease. The flavours and textures are on another plain of existence. The shop itself is very lovely and the workers are so friendly too!

30/06/2024: Gelato was delicious (especially the 70% chocolate and mango) and they have amazing chocolates as well. They let us try some samples. Staff was incredibly friendly and nice. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning any time I am in Florence!!

10/08/2024: Excellent stop just outside the Barberino del Mugello toll booth. Even in the middle of August without booking a place for 4. Excellent food. Fair prices (3 fantastic first courses, 1 second course, 3 side dishes, wine, water and coffee) 70 euros. For those who want grilled meat.

28/07/2024: We took our food with us, the waiter - probably the owner - was helpful, he vacated a table for us while we were waiting and tried to accommodate us despite the small language barrier. We had Ravioli al pesto and Risotto con spinaci e gorgonzola. Both dishes were excellent, I have never eaten a better risotto.

17/08/2024: The service was pleasant and very professional. We took the chianina meat in matured T-Bone. A treat with I recommend the flageolet with tomato and spinach without forgetting the roasted potatoes. Cooked properly, crispy and blue inside. We had a blast!!!

28/07/2024: We tried the famous Lampredotto in Florence, which looks better in the photo than in real life. Overall, the dish was average, but I'm not a fan of this type of dishes. The tripe was well seasoned and a little spicy. It's worth a try, but I probably won't come back for this particular sandwich. The service lady was very nice.

21/06/2024: Stopped here just by chance. Best decision I've made in Florence. Affordable, nice staff and super tasty. Must try
