17/08/2025: Ferragosto lunch, a very welcoming and clean location, excellent service with friendly and helpful staff. The seafood menu was truly delicious, with a warm seafood appetizer: black tortelli stuffed with grouper in a shrimp ragù (delicious), and the crispy, dry fried fish with a lovely variety. The prices were reasonable, especially considering it was Santa Maria. Highly recommended.

10/06/2025: Rarely has a restaurant impressed us so much that we returned several times – but the Casa della Bistecca in Empoli did it. The meat quality is outstanding: perfectly aged, prepared to perfection, and presented with attention to detail. From the Bistecca Fiorentina to the finer cuts – everything is just right here. The desserts are a poem. Add to that a stylish, cozy ambiance and attentive service. Highly recommended.

20/08/2025: Perfect pizza and great atmosphere!! The staff is really friendly and there are olenty of options to choose from. Also the portions are pretty large so have that in mind when ordering.

21/08/2025: Highly recommended restaurant. During our two stays in Florence, we ate here both times. It was very difficult to choose from the many delicious options, and I would have stayed longer in the city just for the food. We'll definitely stay. My wife had the Spaghetti allo scoglio and the Orechiette Pantarei. I had the Tortellini Ripieni di Pepso (delicious with the local beer La Sentenza) and the Tartare di manzo pantarei. As an appetizer, the polpette di baccala is highly recommended. It pairs well with the La Shrumata. The staff is friendly and professional.

20/08/2025: What a delicious dish! I've never had gnocchi with such a good tomato sauce, accompanied by shrimp, mussels, squid and clams. A delight, even the coffee! I recommend this menu.

28/05/2025: The restaurant is located in a quiet and very beautiful area, in the middle of the countryside in Travalle. Very nice place, cared for in every detail. The service was excellent, the guys very kind and prepared. There were four of us. As an appetizer we took a selection of cheeses with compotes and a selection of cold cuts. As first courses, potato gnocchi with saffron asparagus and ravioli filled with nettle and ricotta, as second courses, pork fillet cooked at low temperature and fried lamb ribs. I couldn't say what I liked the most. All very good products of the highest quality. We also took two first courses and two second courses equally excellent. Vast selection of desserts. Highly recommended 😊

22/05/2025: It is absolutely the best place in Prato and its surroundings. It is perfect for some special occasion and to feel pampered. Very varied menu, full of particular or simpler choices with really tasty combinations. The service is truly excellent and the environment breathtaking, both in summer for the cool and the very well-kept outdoor environment and in the greenery, and inside in winter in a truly well-kept and sweet veranda. Perfect waiting times, everything managed in the smallest details. Absolutely excellent from every point of view.

29/07/2025: The food is very good, the service is efficient: the waiters are polite, respectful, active and professional. However, for the bistecca alla fiorentina, don't forget to ask for it cooked rare - the meat literally melts in your mouth!

28/07/2025: It was a phenomenal experience being a guest here. The service was sublime and the food was, as they say here, "bellisimo." I would definitely come back again. The mussels and pizzas are highly recommended. The pasta was also surprisingly delicious. Come and see for yourself.

16/08/2025: We stopped in Florence today. Blazing sun, sweltering heat! The kids were clamoring for ice cream 😋 If you pass by this gelateria, stop by! The ice cream is absolutely magnificent! Very creamy and with a very strong flavor 😍 A special mention for the mango. It's like biting into a freshly picked, perfectly ripe mango with every spoonful 🤯

09/07/2025: It's been a while since we've been back to Gargotta, and I think it's changed management. In any case, we ate very well. Excellent steak, excellent tartare, even fried flowers, and amazing desserts. The appetizer platter was perhaps a bit ordinary, and they could use a makeover. Excellent selection of wines and Prosecco. The terrace is perfect for summer evenings, with the background music of frogs that reminds us of the countryside. Discreet and informal service.

08/07/2025: Trattoria La Gargotta is a superb restaurant. I went there for dinner with four friends. We ate everything, a classic Tuscan/Florentine menu: classic Tuscan appetizer, first course (tagliolini with truffle), second course (grilled rosticciana), with side dishes (sautéed spinach and baked potatoes), and coffee. Everything was VERY GOOD. From start to finish. The service was a bit awkward; they confused the bottle we ordered with a more expensive one. The owner, having already opened it for us, apologized and offered it to us at the same price as the one we ordered. Truly very kind. (Not everyone would do that these days.) The restaurant is located in the Florentine hills, just outside the city, with a splendid terrace overlooking the city, and a very beautiful and characteristic interior. I highly recommend coming for dinner.

30/07/2025: I often come to Soul for an aperitif or after-dinner drink, and it's always fantastic! Delicious tapas, including vegetarian options, and the drinks are always delicious! The girls who work there are always kind and polite. I highly recommend it!

29/07/2025: We came with friends to celebrate my birthday, and the waitress was very rude. She was rude and had terrible attitude. We brought a cake to celebrate, but she wouldn't let us sing. We preferred to go somewhere else because of the poor service. We definitely won't be back.
