When in Florence, you must do pizza. While this spot is right in a busy square, the pizza is truly amazing. The service was also very friendly and quick.

This sits, with outdoor seating, on the square near the duomo in Florence with Chanel and Caffe Gilli looking on. There are several restaurants around but this sets itself apart with great ravioli and carbonara and wines and reasonably good lemoncello spritz.

Met a friend here and we ended up staying longer than planned. The atmosphere was comfortable and the drinks were enjoyable. It made the whole catch-up feel easy and natural.

26/05/2026: A fantastic place in the Florentine hills! The road to get there is a bit rough, but it's worth it! Fantastic atmosphere, excellent food, and more than reasonable prices! The appetizer, main course, side dish, wine, water, and coffee cost about €30-35 per person! Obviously, this is a summertime spot, as it (unfortunately) closes in October...
11/05/2026: Everything was perfect! We chose Chiosco ai Renai for an event, and everything was perfect. A bucolic atmosphere, delicious cocktails, and a view of the Tuscan countryside were the perfect backdrop. The food was plentiful, refined, and delicious; all our guests were truly satisfied. The service was also attentive and friendly. And the wait was impeccable! Not to be underestimated: Excellent value for money. P.S. It's also perfect for families with children (we had a great time there, too). Highly recommended!

23/06/2026: After 5 days traveling around Tuscany and starting more and SUPER expensive, we decided to go to the center. No one should write about this because I don't want to be fond of guiris. It is a site where Italians go, it is cheated, if as marvelously well and the lady cannot be more lovable. Thank you for making our gastronomic experience (5 times in Italy) in this area much better than where we were (in comparison with other parts of Italy). Italian: After spending 5 days traveling around Tuscany, eating without restraint and at SUPER high prices, we decided to move away from the center. I don't know if I should write this, because I don't want it to be filled with foreign tourists. It's a popular place for Italians, it's cheap, the food is divine, and the lady couldn't be nicer. Thank you for making our dining experience (this is our fifth time touring Italy) in this area so much better than it had been up until then (compared to other parts of Italy).
20/05/2026: the ciliegino was the tuffest of the stuff we ordered tbh.
