23/09/2025: This was one of the worst meals we have had in Italy during our 6 weeks travel and the rudest service! We reserved the table for 14:30. The moment we walked in almost empty restaurant, the server greeted us that they will not have much time to prepare our meals. They claimed the left messages to inform us about “late” reservation. There were no text messages, nor e-mails from them. We set and even without giving us a chance to look at the menu, the server start explaining very fast each listed dish. We could not comprehend what was he saying except that there is no time for this or that. Due to my egg allergies, I was not given any other option but to order the risotto. I asked for the risotto not to be all dente, but well cooked. I got the opposite: crunchy rise in off putting smell of yellow sauce with speck of powdered truffles. The presentation was not appealing either. The wine book was ridiculously large. It looked like there were hundreds of pages in leather cover. We ordered the wine we knew since they were in rush to see us out. The service was very disappointing. We did not expect it in the restaurant that was reviewed for Michelin star. To elaborate: at the end of the meal we were served tiny complimentary “uglies”, as Italian call marengo cookies. I know that main ingredient is egg white. The server insisted that it’s not. The chef heard him and called him for a chat. He returned to us and start reciting the explanation of the ingredients, and one of them was egg white! I stopped him and made a point that egg white as a part of the egg and that I am allergic as he was advised earlier. He left our table in obvious anger and start talking to a colleague behind the bar in upset voice. He did not even apologize for the mistake. I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody. Why and for what they even got a chance to be reviewed by Michelin is enigma to me.

21/09/2025: Amazing experience!!! As a New Yorker, I gauge everything relative to the great New York City. I must say, this restaurant delivers!!! Definitely NY quality. The food is incredible, the ambience amazing, and the staff is superb. How this restaurant has eluded a Michelin star, I don’t know, but get in before they get one (or more) and the prices go up! Price is extremely fair and reasonable. I recommend the truffle tasting experience!

05/10/2025: Excellent Chinese restaurant. We went there two days in a row because we enjoyed it the first time. The service is excellent; the girls who work there are always polite, courteous, and attentive to their customers. Recommended

02/10/2025: I've been going there for a while now, the staff are efficient, the food is good, the prices are excellent, the atmosphere is perhaps a little dated, highly recommended.

07/10/2025: We really loved this restaurant, so much so we came back again and brought a friend. Of all the places we’ve eaten in Florence over this past month, this might be the best that we found. Friendly staff and a unique menu prepared perfectly. Leave room for desert!

Give it a try, you might be surprised. The restaurant is fantastic, and they are wary helpful and ready to assyst you any way possible. Give it a try ! you will be surprised.

26/10/2025: It’s a shame to wait for 40 minutes to get served for a wildly salted pasta. After that, it is a disgrace to the Tuscan traditions to get a frozen, well-cooked steak in tuscany, with truffles having no taste. You can’t butcher more rules in one meal. This place has so much wasted potential. I recommend “Il Cucco” instead, where you get what you pay for.

03/10/2025: I had such a wonderful experience at this tea café! The bubble tea was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced, with rich flavor and chewy pearls made just right. You can tell they really care about the quality of their drinks. What made the visit even more special was the owner. So kind, welcoming, and genuinely nice — they made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer. It’s rare to find a place where both the product and the people shine, but this café has both. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great bubble tea and warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!🧋👍🏼

28/09/2025: I went there for lunch for the first time with friends from Florence: an excellent experience. I returned due to the variety of dishes and can only confirm my opinion. Excellent Tuscan cuisine, with different first and second courses: this time I had the pici with duck sauce. It's a place frequented by many foreign tourists, but the prices are unbeatable, in addition to the excellent quality of the products. It's definitely my go-to place for dinner when I return to Florence.

22/10/2025: Terrible service Waited for an hour, nothing happened. After a while, I went out to get some air and accidentally saw how it was all done. Lost my appetite. Standed up and left. I don't recommend it.

22/09/2025: Fantastic, unique experience. Dario is an engaging showman, and a talented chef and butcher. Highly recommended. You damn well better love copious amounts of raw and barely cooked yet world class beef! Considering all the Chianti straw bottle wine you can drink and delicious first and second courses, €50 per person could be the best restaurant deal in Italy.

19/10/2025: We started with crostini and a complimentary glass of wine. The appetizers were good but not too generous. Grilled meat: their forte. The fillet steak was amazing. Good mid- to high-end wines. Dessert was nothing special. Excellent service and top-notch hospitality. Highly recommended for meat.

12/10/2025: I've always loved Chinese cuisine, and I've tried countless over the years, but this oriental art beats them all hands down! Excellent food, top-quality ingredients. The menu is varied, and they do a great job researching even the most traditional dishes, and it's a pleasure to try something new every time. Cristina and her team are always super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: I've tried this restaurant over and over again over the years. The quality is excellent, but they charge you for it. On average, a main course costs around €30, and side dishes between €9 and €12. I justify the price by the quality of the food and the freshness of the ingredients, and a main course and side dish will fill you up. The waiters are very kind and helpful, and if you go during off-peak hours, the service is also extremely fast (I didn't even eat the bread because the wait between ordering and the dish arriving was less than ten minutes). I recommend it to everyone, even for romantic dinners, as the ambiance is perfect. The wine selection is also good.

11/10/2025: New management, a young and highly skilled pizza chef, excellent pizzas, perfectly crispy, top-notch ingredients, a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Takeout is available, just minutes from Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can enjoy delicious pizza as the sun sets with a beautiful view. Highly recommended. We've been back several times and tried the various pizzas...all fabulous...the best thing is the tomato sauce, truly worthy of applause. Bravo, Dario, you continue to amaze us with the unique flavors you offer every time we come. It's become a regular stop! We also tried the new Deliziosa pizza...the burrata and pesto are amazing!! And to finish, the homemade tiramisu is a must!!...and for those who want, they also offer personalized t-shirts.
