24/11/2025: Recommended by friends, excellent quality products and divine food... I gorged myself on the truly delicious fried food... the Trapani-style octopus they offer is also excellent... highly recommended

19/11/2025: Sometimes you just get a hunch on a restaurant. You walk past and immediately stop because what’s happening inside is felt on the pavement. And without knowing anything about it, you have to go in and find out when they can squeeze you in. And you hope your hunch doesn’t disappoint….And it didn’t here. This is food with integrity and character. Like being welcomed into a family kitchen. Dad is chef, mum front of house and youngest son and his childhood friend wait the tables. It’s a small, bustling, ramshackle space offering rustic portions with no pretension. Football commentary drifted unobtrusively from the kitchen. They clearly love what they do and this is expressed in the food they serve (a changing daily menu of florentine classics that I struggled to choose between). I ended up going for Ossobuco Risotto and each rich & melting mouthful made me smile. Brilliant value, inclusive in spirit (they happily welcomed a single diner on a packed evening) and about as authentic as you can get. I came here twice in a week and would go back at the drop of a hat, next time in Firenze.

21/11/2025: Osteria Belle Donne was a wonderful surprise in the heart of Florence. The atmosphere is warm and charming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentically Tuscan. A great place for a delicious, traditional meal — highly recommended!

31/10/2025: What a hidden gem of a shop! The Americano was amazing, and the owner even recommended the Affogato, which was fantastic. We also ordered freshly squeezed orange juice, which was incredibly fresh. The owner even helped us connect to the Wi-Fi – super friendly and nice! 😎👍🏻

08/12/2025: Second time coming to this fantastic and traditional Florentine Trattoria in the space of 10 days... the first time with friends while today I was with family! Delicious appetizers (tried the Tuscan crostini, the fried polenta with porcini mushrooms and the typical Tuscan Crostone with black cabbage and beans), abundant and homemade first courses (classic tagliatelle with ragù, the legendary pappardelle with wild boar) to finish with the fabulous Florentine steak (in 34 years of existence without a doubt the best dish I have ever eaten... simply LEGENDARY!) accompanied by baked potatoes and fried artichokes. Desserts were a must (Tiramisu, Panna Cotta and Torta della Nonna). EXCEPTIONAL quality/price ratio... A 10-star experience! Compliments to the staff! You are the Best Florentine Trattoria by far! 25/11/2025: I celebrated my graduation here a few days ago, and besides the great service and the always delightful atmosphere, the dishes served were all delicious and unique. Plus, every time I return, they feature seasonal vegetables, which shows attention to the quality of the food. I highly recommend it! P.S. The carrot cake is phenomenal!

07/10/2025: Good pizza, but a bit salty. The berry cheesecake is a must-try! The place isn't very beautiful, and in my opinion, it doesn't really reflect the concept of family, origins, and the relationship between father and son (which is, however, well conveyed in the wonderful menu). Fantastic and fast staff. A bit of a wait despite a reservation. Prices are quite high.

21/09/2025: We visited Maga Magò on a Wednesday afternoon. It was not busy and they had an availablily. The food was good, but the portion sizes are not so big, so I'd recommend getting some starters to share.

12/11/2025: Our favourite dining experience in Florence!! Friendly and attentive service, all housed in a cozy Tuscan themed decor. Lots of regional meat AND vegetable dishes, and we only spent €45 for two. Love the tomato polenta (pappa al pomodoro) and the lemon and cheese tortellini (tortello). All veggie dishes were great and portioned well. We got our food quickly too. Gutted we only got to dine there once! If you go make sure you get the nonna's dessert cakes and they were arranged beautifully in a covered cupboard and featured Tuscany specialties like the autumnal chestnut cake.

12/11/2025: The best ribollita I've ever eaten! The steak was cooked perfectly, though I'm a bit skeptical about the quality of the meat, which could be better. Perfect service.

09/12/2025: I discovered this osteria in the heart of Fiesole's historic center during the Christmas markets. The guys who run it, Lorenzo and Duccio, are incredibly friendly and have a quick wit, while also working tirelessly and passionately. The atmosphere is always cheerful and the place is welcoming. The dishes are tasty and well-prepared. Prices are fair. Greetings from "the one in the middle."

21/11/2025: I was I Florence for 4 nights and went to this restaurant twice. My neice & her husband also went there twice. The food is absolutely amazing- the flavours were mouthwatering. The ambiance, the service and the entire experience is unforgettable. This place is a gem with excellent pricing. Much better than the tourist areas. And to top it off, this is a Micheline star restaurant!! I would highly recommend it. Obviously the locals know it well as they frequent it.

11/11/2025: Excellent Trattoria in the Center of Florence Very close to the Uffizi Gallery and we had many recommendations. We were very well attended to by the owners. We ordered the Pici caccio pepe and the Papardelle cinghiale, and, to accompany, a Chianti Classico. The dishes were delicious. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
