A place with a balcony offering a beautiful view. The only downside is that only a few of the outdoor tables are in the shade! The service is attentive and kind. The food is excellent. I recommend making a reservation!

The eggplant tartare is AMAZING. The pici all'aglione and pappardelle al ragu are also...really, really good! KUDOS to the kitchen. The service was also perfect. Stunning view of the valley.

Il Vescovino is located right in the historic center of Panzano, and its beautiful terrace offers a fantastic view of the vineyards. The welcome was very friendly, and as a single traveler, I was given a wonderful table right at the front, which isn't always the case. English was no problem; all the staff knew what they were doing. I had a bottle of the house wine, Le Lepre from Fonti, at a fair price. For my starter, I chose young and aged pecorino with pear jelly—absolutely delicious. The first course was pici with tomato sugo, wonderfully fruity, with garlic and peporoncini—so simple, yet so good. I asked for a little extra time for the final course, which was no problem at all. The tagliata, cooked medium-rare, was absolutely perfect. A wonderful evening; I highly recommend this restaurant.

The best!!! The family, the food, the views. This place is one of our absolute favorites in the whole country. Add it to your list. You will not be disappointed. Not a bad thing on the menu. (The zucchini is a must have side dish). Pics don’t the food justice. And I was so ready to tackle the dishes I forgot most of them. :)

The restaurant's decor and the terrace with its stunning view are truly unique. The food is of the highest quality, and the staff are always happy to recommend the perfect wine pairing. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant; it's a truly delightful experience!

WONDERFUL. We found it by chance and it was an incredible experience. The food and service were excellent, but the setting is simply breathtaking. Few tourists (just us) and lots of locals. It was like something out of a movie. Highly recommended.

I had lunch at Il Vescovino in the heart of Chianti and the experience was truly top-notch. Eating outdoors surrounded by greenery is wonderful, the atmosphere is super relaxing. Excellent food, well-prepared dishes, and truly delicious flavors. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. The service was kind and attentive, without being intrusive. Perfect for a quiet lunch outside the city. Highly recommended 👍
