06/10/2025: Wow! A place stuck in time, where everything feels simple and familiar, but with great attention to the decor, service, and customer service, and the incredibly kind staff. The traditional dishes are very good, and it's worth sampling and sharing a little of everything. Parking is fairly convenient on the street right next to the restaurant. Reservations are absolutely essential on weekends.

20/09/2025: The place is cute, historic, and has potential. The quality of the appetizers, first courses, and main courses is excellent. The house wine is good. The desserts need some work. The portions for the first courses are adequate, but more could be done for the appetizers and main courses, at the cost of raising the price by €1 or €2 per portion. The desserts are a sore point. We were the first table of the evening, and it's impossible to have finished the courses, or even nearly finished them. The dining room needs work, with greater care and empathy for the customers, and a few more smiles. I'm sure it was a bad night.

13/09/2025: What can I say!!!!! This is my second time stopping for lunch, but they pleasantly surprised me once again! The dishes are assembled with taste and professionalism. The ingredients are fabulous. I don't even know how to describe it all...you absolutely have to try it! Personally, it's my favorite restaurant! It's a shame it's 300 km from home, but as soon as I get back to Florence, I'll definitely stop by! Fantastically special!!

12/10/2025: We had two beef tartares for appetizers, and two first courses: pici with cherry tomatoes and burrata, and pici carbonara with truffle. The tomato pici were perhaps a little undercooked, but everything was delicious. However, after dinner and leaving the restaurant, we started feeling bloated, and not a little. The result was that we didn't sleep very well that night. The atmosphere was lovely and well-kept, with impeccable service from the waiters.

11/10/2025: The service was friendly and helpful, if a little slow to start with on a busy Saturday evening, bit there were prompt apologies for this. The food was excellent throughout, and it was a really pleasant and relaxed experience to spend along evening in the Osteria.

In a charming, traditional ambiance, the food is cooked with palpable passion – honest, artisanal, and with great attention to detail. Each dish is a small homage to Tuscan cuisine: The homemade panzerotti with fresh pecorino and tomato jam was a wonderfully fragrant starter, followed by velvety chicken liver pâté on airy brioche – classic yet with a subtle twist. The "Pici all'aglione" and the "Paccheri with Chianti ragù" also demonstrate how much soul can be contained in a simple pasta sauce when prepared with care. For the main course, the grilled tagliata of young beef was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, buttery tender on the inside – accompanied by hand-cut potatoes reminiscent of grandma's Sunday cooking. Even the homemade bread and the delicate vegetable side dishes deserve a special mention. The exquisite wine list, compiled by a connoisseur, deserves special mention: In addition to carefully selected local Chianti Classico wines – elegant, balanced, and with their characteristic cherry and herbal notes – there are also mature Riserva vintages that impressively demonstrate how aging-worthy and multifaceted these wines can be. Those who prefer something lighter can discover fresh, mineral white wines from Tuscany, which pair wonderfully with the antipasti. The advice is delivered with palpable joy and profound knowledge, without any intrusiveness – you can feel the passion for wine in every word and in every glass. 03/10/2025: We were served by our waitress, Jimena, who provided excellent service. She was very friendly and courteous. The best burgers we've ever had. I highly recommend it.

02/10/2025: Hamburger is really good and tasteful. But waiter is too rude with everyone. And also french fries came cold we asked to change and he bring new ones also cold. It wasn’t fresh.

20/09/2025: Unfortunately we couldn't eat because the restaurant was closed but it said open, so they should specify which days they are open at the restaurant.

20/09/2025: Four of us went for lunch for a birthday, and we ate for 10. The food was truly excellent, and the service was fast. Make sure you book, though, as it's always busy. I highly recommend it.

12/10/2025: After travelling all day, we were grateful to find an authentic Italian restaurant so close by to where we were staying. I had a very tasty pasta and cherry tomatoes dish and my partner had a carbonara. Both were incredible.
