04/06/2026: A good selection of pasta, all of good quality and well-prepared, at a reasonable price. The risotto was also very good, as was the panna cotta. The pizzas being served at other tables also looked good, although we didn't get a chance to try them. The service was adequate. It's worth taking a 10-minute trip from the center of Florence to enjoy a meal in a quieter place with more reasonable prices like this.

23/05/2026: Stopped in Mid May for an experience with my group of 10. Dario was present and making it a great time!
My main complaint is how raw all the meat was when it came out. This meat is about as rare as it comes. No seasoning.
6 out of 7 dishes were served raw/cold.
A cool experience, but hard to cut and eat so much steak cooked to that level. The “Steak Florentino” that came out as the finale was forgettable.
It’s worth stopping by the butcher shop and buying some souvenirs but the dinner experience can be skipped.
22/05/2026: We went to Antica Macelleria Cecchini in 2022 and honestly it was more like a huge family party than just dinner. Started out amazing with staff handing out glasses of Chianti right on the street. Once inside it was absolute chaos in the best possible way. Long tables, sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers who become friends by the end of the night. It was loud, busy and there was an endless amount of incredible meat coming out. Had such a blast. If you like your meat, you have to go here. One of the highlights of our Tuscany trip.

30/03/2026: We chose bistecca la fiorentina from their menu and I must say it was delicious, as were the rosemary potatoes that accompanied the meat. The service was excellent. The tiramisu truly deserved the acclaim it received a couple of years ago.
25/03/2026: Seriously do not understand how this place does not have a 5⭐️ rating. I had scampi risotto and it was out of this world. Imagine home made food refined to a level of perfection. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and mostly Italian visitors. Cannot recommend it enough, thank you to the whole staff ❤️❤️❤️

05/06/2026: Very nice trattoria, you can eat there for very reasonable prices. We were with 6 people, everything is freshly made with simplicity.
Small groups sit together at a table.
Very nice atmosphere.
Prices that make you think that's impossible.
We will definitely come back sometime.
Restaurant opens at 19:15, go early; we were there at 18:30 and there was already a line, and it just kept getting bigger.
Don't expect high service; it's just like eating at Donna's own home.

05/04/2026: We waited an hour without being served. When it arrived, our T-bone steak was completely different from what I'm used to. After asking the waiter, they finally served it. Furthermore, the steak wasn't even hot.
04/04/2026: We made a reservation through an open KakaoTalk chat room and ordered the set menu for two, and it is the best value for money...!
The meat at another restaurant yesterday was too tough, but I definitely acknowledge this place as a T-bone steak hotspot.
I'm so glad I was able to eat a proper T-bone steak before leaving Florence!
I recommend the T-bone steak over the pasta.

04/05/2026: “My partner and I went to this restaurant and were absolutely thrilled. The spaghetti with razor clams!!! was simply amazing, a rare delicacy. The fried fish was also excellent, crispy and light. The atmosphere is very quiet and welcoming, perfect for relaxing and enjoying dinner. The staff was attentive, polite, and always available without being intrusive. The dishes were truly amazing: I recommend it 100%.”

21/03/2026: A 3-day stay in Florence and a big ice cream lover. La Sorbettiera finally satisfied my craving for good Italian gelato. The Venezuelan chocolate is a killer, smooth and creamy; the strawberry sorbet is bursting with freshness without being too sweet (you can see the crates of strawberries in the kitchen); the pistachio could be improved, and the Buentalenti (Florentine cream) delicately complements the chocolate and strawberry. A very good, slightly out-of-the-way spot that I highly recommend.

07/04/2026: Delicious food, excellent service, and the guys and girls were so sweet and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, but it was too hot. I'd happily go back and recommend it if you want to try authentic Asian cuisine. It was a perfect evening.

The chef's dishes are interesting and delicious. The service is courteous and efficient. The location is welcoming, with relaxing furnishings and music. Reservations are recommended. 27/05/2026: Very different experience at the atrattpria Napoleone. Had it as part of my dinner and opera package and so glad i did. I would have misses this little gem off the beaten path. The food was delicious and different from every other place I have eaten in Italy thus far. Great job!
24/05/2026: Enchanting location! Just like being in another era. Friendly and knowledgeable waiters. The welcome dish was very well received. Spectacular meat! First-rate, both the tagliata and the tartare with truffle. I didn't really like the mussels with pepper sauce I ordered because it lacked pepper or salt, and the mussels weren't fresh. The wine list is excellent. The wait between courses was a bit long, even though we arrived early.

If you want to save money you can order the cafe drinks or pastries from the bar, servers at the bar are all friendly and helpful.
You can also get a table to enjoy the ambiance, its a great place to grab a drink or a dessert and relax looking out at the Piazza della Repubblica (especially in the evening). Shout out to Eldorado, who was our server, super friendly, funny yet professional, had a great time thanks to him :)

29/09/2025: I believe this hotel deserves a five. The views of the city are remarkable. The service is impeccable and the rooms are clean with all the amenities one would expect. Nicholas was without a doubt, the best hotel host I have ever experienced in all my years. He and his staff constantly went out of their way to provide one on one personal service. From putting on dance music at night to greeting us in the morning with fresh food and champagne. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel above the city of Florence.
25/08/2025: A gem in a beautiful city. Close to the heart of Florence with the beauty and calmness of the countryside. Service was excellent, staff were friendly, every need anticipated. The food, the room, the courtyard, the pool, all well designed and convenient. Beautiful location. Highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future. Recommended by a friend.
