Visited multiple times during my stay in Firenze, had a good experience every time!
If you want to save money you can order the cafe drinks or pastries from the bar, servers at the bar are all friendly and helpful.
You can also get a table to enjoy the ambiance, its a great place to grab a drink or a dessert and relax looking out at the Piazza della Repubblica (especially in the evening). Shout out to Eldorado, who was our server, super friendly, funny yet professional, had a great time thanks to him :)

came in the morning for a quick espresso stopvl and at night for desserts. espresso and tiramisu were really good! Eldorado was really nice and friendly as well. fyi, seating charge is pretty high

I walked in because I saw a lot of customers. The first day I bought some cakes to go, but two were missing when I got home. The next day I went back and tried to explain what happened the day before. They responded politely and compensated me. They were quite friendly. 👏

The ambiance and waiters were very nice, the food was just average, but the location is great. Worth a try if you've heard good things about it! Tomas was very friendly and speaks Chinese, thank you!

The coffee tasted pretty good, and I'm very grateful for Tomas' service.
It is located in front of the carousel in the square.
I came in late at night because I was hungry, and it was wonderful.
The server, Eldo, smiled and kindly helped guide me even though I was rude in my broken Italian.
The atmosphere was great, and even though it was late and the kitchen was clearly closing, they made us a really delicious croque monsieur.
My husband said it was one of the best meals he has had since coming to Italy. The accompanying potato chips, cappuccino, and fruit were all delicious as well.
I highly recommend it!

This was a place I had been looking forward to visiting during my trip to Florence, and I was finally able to come on the last day.
The cafe was excellent, of course, but Maritozzo and Eclair were also delicious. I hadn't found the bakeries to be particularly good during my travels in Italy, but Gilli was as delicious as the ones I had in France, so I had a wonderful time.
Furthermore, Denis's kind and attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable.
